Chantal Sutherland gets Naked for Bo Derekhttp://www.chantalsutherlandjockey.com/homeFormer sex symbol Bo Derek shoots the jockey for Vanity Fair.
It's difficult for many women to break into a men's sport and dominate; which would explain why most have separate leagues for women only. But when it comes to the often overlooked field of horse racing, being a jockey could be suited best for both sexes.
To be a successful jockey, you have to be both light and strong to be able to handle the power and maximize the speed of the horses underneath you. In essence, they must be able to control an animal that weighs around 1,200 lbs and is moving roughly 40 mph.
With those facts, you can see why that while either sex can be a jockey, it is males that ride the vast majority of races throughout the world. Chantal Sutherland, however, defies the percentages and thrives on the back of a horse, earning over $45 million since she began riding in 2000.
Known as the Danica Patrick of horse racing, Sutherland is a model/jockey who isn't afraid to leave everything she has on the course to get a win. Now, thanks to Bo Derek and Vanity Fair, she takes that passion to a more literal state, as she recently posed nude atop a racehorse for the magazine.
This beautiful young blonde appears to be comfortable on a horse no matter what the situation and makes for a rather attractive ambassador for a sport where the human element often gets overlooked.
http://www.vanityfair.com/video/2012/05/1616261695001Filly Cheesecakeby Bo DerekThere’s something special about the way jockey Chantal Sutherland rides a Thoroughbred racehorse. You notice it right away: you can always pick her out of a tightly packed field of 15 riders and horses. Her position in the saddle is positively feline, very sensual, and when she makes her move to take the lead, she gets impossibly low on her horse’s back. It’s a familiar look to race fans: Chantal is closing in on 1,000 career wins, has more than $45 million in earnings to her credit, and in March became the first woman to ride in the $10 million Dubai World Cup, the richest pot in horse racing. (Alas, she and her mount, Game On Dude, had a bad start and finished near the back of the pack, after having come in second at last year’s Breeders’ Cup Classic.)
Horse trainers say that she calms a skittish horse, that she’s brave and doesn’t panic during a race, even when one horse takes a misstep and they all, horses and riders, start bouncing off one another like a bunch of lead cannonballs. She simply says that she’s a quiet rider and is very good at reading a horse because she loves them. If one is jumpy and nervous, she can soothe it with purrs and strokes. If another is puffed up like a blowfish with confidence, she just stays out of the way and goes with the flow.
Jockeys are considered, pound for pound, among the strongest athletes in the world. But if a woman is generally 30 percent weaker than a man, just how strong must Chantal be to compete equally in arguably the most dangerous sport? She’ll tell you the strongest part of her sculpted body is her big toe. Yes, that’s the first point of contact that creates the leverage that controls a horse running at 40 miles per hour. The reins are a mere suggestion.
Chantal Sutherland has that Sharon Stone vibe to her in this revealing interviewChantal is comfortable on any race horse except black ones. Her daddy will be pissed if he finds out she been riding black stallions._______________________________________________

Rising star Bella Heathcote outshines A-list castmates in a very daring dress at Dark Shadows premiere after-party
She is already taking the film industry by storm, having been cast alongside the likes of Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer, Brad Pitt, and James Gandolfini.
And as she appears on more red carpets, Bella Heathcote is causing fashion followers to sit up and take notice too.The Australian actress has been winning praise from style critics and stealing the spotlight from her more-famous co-stars as she promotes Dark Shadows around the world this week.At last night's premiere and after-party in London, the 24-year-old wore a daring lace number from the Emilio Pucci Fall 2012 collection. While the open back and sheer fabric (which had many passers-by doing double-takes to see if a little more than intended was on display) was a risk, the stunning beauty pulled the look off with aplomb. She posed for photographers as she arrived at the premiere after-party, held at Temple Place, with her co-stars. Belle of the ball: The Australian actress' daring look was deemed a hit by fashion followers as she walked the red carpet earlier in the evening
Bella, originally from Melbourne, moved to Hollywood in 2010 after winning the coveted Heath Ledger Scholarship. She beat 100 other young Australian actors for the scholarship, which was judged by the late star's friends including Hugh Jackman and director Gregor Jordan.
Miss Heathcote had previously appeared in Neighbours for a number of episodes in 2009, and the Australian WWI drama Beneath Hill 60.
She quickly won over directors, and was cast in the Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried thriller In Time, and Killing Them Softly (previously Cogan's Trade) alongside Brad Pitt.
After holding her own against Depp, Pfeiffer, Chloe Moretz, Eva Green and Helena Bonham Carter as Victoria Winters in Dark Shadows, Bella undoubtedly has a bright future in the industry.
Living in LA, she says: "Once I got the Heath Ledger scholarship in May 2010 I never left. But I really miss Melbourne."
Reportedly in a relationship with New Zealand-born 44-years old director Andrew Dominik (Killing Them Softly), she says she spends a lot of time with fellow ex-pats. "I'd say the majority of my friends are Australians, although I have some good American friends, but I think with Aussies, we just get it.YOUNG HOLLYWOOD 2012: BELLA HEATHCOTE COVER SHOOT
I wish her all the success in Hollywood. Just wondering if she will perform her first nude scene in 2012 or next year. That's the reason you are in America, sweetheart. With American actresses either too prudish or asking way too much money for nude/sex scenes, no wonder the producers are turning to foreign artists. The Aussies, Brits are making their mark even in B-grade flicks - nudity wise. Catch Bella in upcoming Not Fade Away (2012).

A Look At The Spartacus Cast In Boot Camp Training For Season 3
While we have months to wait until Spartacus returns for its yet-to-be-titled Season 3, fans may be interested to know that the cast is hard at work getting into shape for the new season. Unsurprisingly, those toned arms, shapely legs and rock-hard abs are the result of hard work. For those who want a glimpse at what goes into Spartacus boot camp, check out these photos!
A month ahead of production for the new season, the cast of Spartacus, along with the stunt performers, get together for some intense training to get their bodies into "Gladiator shape."
“Meticulous choreographing is necessary to ensure the safety of the actors performing the stunts,” says stunt coordinator Allan Poppleton, who has overseen each of the “Spartacus” boot camps. “For four weeks, we work the cast to the point of exhaustion, combining cross training elements- everything from cardio, basic gymnastics, foot and movement work, unarmed combat, body awareness, reactions, weaponry, and functional cross fit circuits.”
Liam McIntylre says they found "a new level with military inspired training" this year, and went on to say, "I’ve never been so fit in my whole life. This boot camp will kick your ass. This year it kicked it twice.”
Starz released the following photos of the training.
This one has Liam McIntyrle focusing on "sled work," which is apparently designed to strengthen the legs and core.
Here's Manu Bennett (Crixus) working with a 200-year-old sword called a Taiaha. According to Starz, he later presented it to Poppleton "out of respect and thanks for training him and the other actors and stunt performers for the last four years."
As excellent is the above photo is, especially because it almost looks like Bennett's in character, I think this next one's my favorite. Ellen Hollman, who plays last season's newcomer Saxa (introduced in
Vengeance), is doing a bit of people-lifting. According to Starz, she and other cast members "executed the USMC combat fitness test." This includes a 20 meter sprint, leopard crawls and baby crawls. It also includes the "Fireman pick-up," which may be what we're looking at here.
When Steven DeKnight
spoke with the press after
Vengeance wrapped up, he mentioned that Saxa would be featured more prominently in Season 3.
(Hollman is not much to look at face-wise but she has sweet tight body. Hopefully we will see her in nude lez-romp).
Finally, we have a look at Simon Merrells, who's set to play Marcus Crassus in the new season. Like Bennett, he too is working with swords.
Even this small glimpse of their training is impressive and offers a bit of perspective. The next time I feel frustrated that the new season of
Spartacus is too far away, I may have to default back to these photos to remind myself of just how hard the cast is working to make it happen.

The subjects on this week’s TIME cover aren’t models in pose. Jamie Lynne Grumet, photographed by Martin Schoeller with her 3-year-old son, is a mother from Los Angeles who subscribes to attachment parenting, the subject of staff writer Kate Pickert’s cover story. Attachment parenting has been on the rise over the past two decades, since the publication of The Baby Book by Dr. Bill Sears and his wife Martha in 1992. Its three main tenets are extended breast-feeding, co-sleeping and “baby wearing,” in which infants are physically attached to their parents by slings.

|
In one day, Schoeller photographed four families from across the country who practice this method of motherhood. Using religious images of the Madonna and Child as reference, Schoeller captured each mother breast-feeding her child or children. “When you think of breast-feeding, you think of mothers holding their children, which was impossible with some of these older kids,” Schoeller says. “I liked the idea of having the kids standing up to underline the point that this was an uncommon situation.”
The four mothers photographed by Schoeller were all familiar with The Baby Book but said they had adopted the parenting philosophy for their own reasons. For Grumet, the decision was a natural extension of how she had been raised; she was the daughter of attached parents, and her older sister practices the method as well. “I grew up this way and never thought about raising my kids differently,” she says.
While pregnant, Dionna Ford, who lives in Kansas City, Mo., watched a video of a British woman breast-feeding her 7-year-old daughter. Ford thought she could never do the same — until she discovered how difficult it was to wean her son off breast milk. “After six months, I decided I’d wait until he turned 1,” she says. “But after my baby turned a year old, he was still a baby — not talking, barely walking — and I wondered why I’d stop now.”
Capturing various attached parents — and their reasons for attachment parenting — was Schoeller’s biggest goal for the sitting. “It was important to show that there’s no stereotypical look for a mom who practices this kind of parenting,” Schoeller says.

Emma Watson takes up pole-dancing
Emma Watson has taken up pole-dancing.
The 22-year-old actress - who is dating American student Will Adamovicz - decided to take up the raunchy hobby after one of her co-stars on new movie
The Bling Ring recommended it for keeping fit.
A source told
The Sun newspaper: "Like on all film sets, there's often so much time spent doing nothing. One of the other actresses on the set has been pole-dancing as a sport for a while and Emma decided to give it a go as well. She's amazed with the results because it has toned up her body so well.
"She never thought she would enjoy it but she finds it quite liberating."
This isn't the first time Emma has shown interest in the saucy dance.
Last summer, following the New York premiere of
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 she partied at a pole-dancing club with pals.
A source said at the time: "She was really enjoying herself. There were a few scantily-clad girls around but Emma didn't bat an eyelid.
"There are a few poles in the club but she didn't have a go. After such a big night it's no wonder she wanted to let her hair down.
"She had a smile on her face the whole time before calling it a night around 2am."

“LOL” stars Miley Cyrus in a coming-of-age teen chick flick. The title means “Laugh Out Loud” in Internet jargon and is likewise the nickname of Cyrus’ character Lola, a high school senior. Set in downtown Chicago, the movie is the American edition of a 2008 French film directed by writer Lisa Azuelos. She also directed this Hollywood version, which premiered in India earlier this year to appreciative audiences.
Despite the generous PG-13 rating, this is one of those somewhat pragmatic “sign of the times” movies parents might want their younger teens to avoid. Even though a party scene involving Lola smoking marijuana was edited out, the telling aftermath was included. When her mother Anne (Demi Moore) comes home early, the apartment is a shambles with pot butts, empty liquor bottles and condoms strewn about. To complicate matters for Anne, her own mother, Gran (Marlo Thomas), bears responsibility, having chaperoned the debacle.
Lola and her classmates live in high-rises near the Loop, attend Wrigley High and gad about Chicago-like commuters. An uninspired student, Lola’s senior year begins with her being callously dumped by her boyfriend Chad (George Finn) for refusing to go all the way.
On the other hand, Lola’s best friend Emily (Ashley Hinshaw), a gorgeous blonde honor student, revels in the notoriety of enticing guys into bathroom stalls for steamy one-time encounters.[It appears Ashley loves playing the enticing nymph] A guitarist in Chad’s band, Kyle (Douglas Booth) has always had a crush on Lola, makes his move and they become a pair – causing problems with the band that rents halls on weekends and draws students willing to pony up 10 bucks. Lola’s competition is the always-lurking Ashley (Ashley Greene).
Meanwhile, Emily begins a campaign to seduce handsome honors math teacher Mr. Ross (Austin Nichols), but he knowingly dodges her moves all semester. On the home front, Anne is recently divorced from Lola’s easygoing dad (Thomas Jane). They are seeing each other, and reconciliation looks possible – that is until Anne discovers he is a two-timer. So she begins dating James (Jay Hernandez), a persistent Chicago detective.
When the semester ends, Lola has been grounded several times. But Anne – a soft touch who sees herself in Lola – always capitulates. At one point, Lola’s grades are so bad that Anne threatens to keep her from going on Wrigley High’s senior class trip to France.
Experts at getting around Chicago by rail, Paris poses no problems for the Wrigley seniors. They have a wonderful time roaming the rustic streets and their host families are diverting. And as springtime Paris is the perfect destination for romance, Lola and Kyle make a decision.
Although clichéd and predictable, the pace of “LOL” is relaxed and the actors work well together. This is especially true of the chemistry between Cyrus, Moore and Thomas. Their complex generational outlooks ring true.
Lola narrates as she writes candidly in her diary. “It’s so good to love someone so much it hurts,” she remarks. Her other observations – whether about friends or family – further the story. Not yet 20, Cyrus has lost the youthful bloom of her halcyon Hanna Montana days at Disney, but she is the glue that holds this movie together.
