More Kinky Looks at Rachel McAdams, Noomi Rapace in Brian DePalma's Passion

Passion - Brian DePalma, Rachel McAdams, Noomi Rapace Looks like that first steamy image from Brian DePalma's femme thriller Passion was just the tip of the erotic iceberg! New images from the film have emerged from Cannes, where the film is seeking buyers, showing more of stars Rachel McAdams as a businesswoman and Noomi Rapace as her assistant, who become locked in a deadly power struggle that will involve lingerie, showers, and kinky masks. If these pics don't get this movie sold, I don't know what will.

Passion is a remake of the 2010 French film Love Crime, which starred Kristen Scott Thomas and Ludivine Sagnier; it's DePalma's first film since 2007's Redacted, and judging from the stir the first image has created, should mark a return to DePalma's wheelhouse. And, really: Has there been a single film still in recent memory as immediately enthralling and dangerous and seductive as the Passion mask shot below? Sign me up.

The offices of a prominent multinational corporation is the setting for this story of a power struggle between two contemporary women. Isabelle has unlimited admiration for her direct superior, Christine, a woman well-schooled in the ways of power. Christine enjoys holding sway over Isabelle, leads her one step at a time and ever more deeply into a game of seduction and manipulation, of dominance and servitude. The game is played for keeps, and there is no turning back.

Girls Star Allison Williams: Shooting Intimate Scenes Is 'Part Of The Job'

The gritty, often uncomfortable reality of HBO's "Girls" has struck a chord with audiences, as viewers are reminded of their own cringe-worthy coming of age moments.
One of the show's most seemingly awkward scenes thus far involved series star Allison Williams getting down and dirty solo in a public restroom, but the beauty says filming the intimate scene was no big deal in the world of acting.

"It's part of the job," Allison told Billy Bush and guest co-host Lisa Rinna on Friday's Access Hollywood Live, when asked about filming the racy "Girls" scenes. "The show, I think, does a great job of encapsulating what life is like for girls in their early 20s and some of that involves less glamorous moments and more intimate ones, and I think that's really just part of what our job is -- which is portraying something that seems real and familiar to people."

Allison, daughter of "NBC Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams and wife Jane Gillan Stoddard, said her parents have actually been quite supportive of her sexy scenes and admitted it's more difficult for her to watch herself on-screen than her folks.

"They're very cool about it," she said. "I'm like, cringing, and then I open my eyes and they're all just watching like [it's no big deal]. They understand that I'm an actress."
The actress' parents' understanding nature could be put to the test if Allison - whose physical appearance resembles "Fifty Shades of Grey" heroine Anastasia Steele - were to be cast in the big screen adaptation of E L James' S-and-M themed novel.
"I am reading ['Fifty Shades of Grey']," Allison admitted to Billy and Lisa. "I'm very intrigued by the book, very entertained by it.

"And I actually love riding the subway and seeing people reading their Kindles sort of surreptitiously [reading] and I'm always wondering whether or not they're reading 'Fifty Shades of Grey' in secret," she added with a smile.
However, just because she's a fan of the steamy book doesn't necessarily mean she'd strip down for the big screen.

"I'd have to read the script, but given that it's very explicit in nature, I would say that I'd leave that up to a daredevil ... we'll see," she said.

Barely a year into showbiz, Allison have lost the sexy curves. Almost skin and bones. Hollywood sure grinds you down quickly. The pressure to look thin with model-like proportions is ridiculous (media must accept large chunk of blame too). It doesn’t help Allison wants to look good (in her typical womanly body insecurities) during the ‘love’ scenes in HBO Girls despite staying completely clothed so far. Her approach reminds me of Valerie Bertinelli. The Disneyesque-like star of TV-movies and family shows had serious body image issues which led to substance abuse in order to reduce weight to acceptable showbiz standards. Valerie (and I believe Allison) had no real problem with nudity.  More to do with massive lack of self-esteem that most women seem to have when it comes to physical appearance.  Some stay covered afraid being judged harshly or in many cases even harsher self- recriminations. You can say morality, religious beliefs or fear of pissing off the parents plays a part. But it always boils down to ludicrous (from male POV) notion of feeling less than adequate or satisfied about their appearance.
Let’s move to another Allison related subject – possible casting for upcoming movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. She is being coy but with the right script might even reconsider. Famous cock-tease Jennifer Love Hewitt told Access in May, she’d love to play Anastasia. But she is too old. Anne Hathaway is the obvious choice though it will be hard for viewers to accept Anne as a virgin! Alexis Bledel will be good option too. She still looks to be in her early twenties unlike Hewitt. She is desperate for movie success. Maybe last shot at stardom now that she is in her early thirties. The way things going now with Hollywood and the preference for foreign artists……don’t be surprised if Emma Watson gets the part. It will be perfect for her. Also an opportunity to escape the child star stigma once and for all. Aussie girls are hot property right now. They will be in running too.

Fifty Shades of Grey: Who Should Play Anastasia Steele?

Fifty Shades of Grey: Who Should Play Anastasia Steele? | Amanda Seyfried, Emma Stone, Emmy Rossum, Missy Peregrym, Rachel Bilson, Shailene Woodley

Here's one casting decision that might be best left to Mr. Christian Grey himself.

Anastasia Steele, the heroine in Fifty Shades of Grey (a.k.a. the hottest book around) is the object of Christian Grey's affection ... and obsession. Now that the book will be made into a movie, the task of finding just the right actress to play her should be an interesting one.

Ana describes herself in the first book of the steamy trilogy as "a pale, brown-haired girl with blue eyes too big for her face." She's clumsy and awkward but very beautiful – though she clearly doesn't see that herself. Of course, Christian does, and he's not shy about complimenting her "beautiful skin, pale and flawless." Not to mention her slim figure, which he's not shy about appreciating.

A 21-year-old recent college graduate, Ana is innocent and unsuspecting about Christian's intentions, though she quickly opens her mind to the powerful, millionaire suitor's unusual tastes. We polled readers and our staff about who would best portray the naïve-turned-naughty Anastasia Steele onscreen. The nominees are ...

Emmy Rossum

Having been through more than one highly public relationship (and breakup) in her own life, Rossum could channel that experience into one with mega-millionaire Grey onscreen. With a pair of blue contact lenses, she'd have Ana's look down, and with an extensive resumé behind her, Rossum could be due for this type of breakout role.

Missy Peregrym

If author E L James, Universal Studios and Focus Features want to go with a relative newcomer, Peregrym (of Rookie Blue and Reaper fame) could also handily portray Ana with some minor physical tweaks. A former model, she's used to being a chameleon (she also transformed her body to play a top gymnast in Stick It).

Shailene Woodley

For her acting alone, Woodley would be a great pick. The actress appeared in the critical darling The Descendents and she clearly wouldn't be intimidated by starring opposite an über hot co-star (hello, George Clooney!) The Secret Life of the American Teenager star is also just the right age for the role – she turns 21 later this year.

Rachel Bilson

She may be 30, but Bilson's got the looks and the range to play someone younger, like Ana. After her breakout role on The O.C., Bilson made her mark in Hollywood with several more TV shows and movies. A spitting image of Ana, minus the blue eyes again – hope production has a contact lens budget for it's leading lady – she could easily play the awkward object of Christian's desire.

Emma Stone

With a quick dye job to darken her red locks. Stone feels like an obvious choice to play Ana. She's played the awkward, doesn't-know-she's-gorgeous role before (opposite Ryan Gosling, no less!) and we can totally imagine her falling under Christian's spell. But if not Ana, her current look would be a great fit to play Kate, Ana's best friend, who's described in the book as "gamine and gorgeous" with strawberry blonde hair and bright green eyes.

Amanda Seyfried

Another trip to the salon would be necessarily to capture Ana's long, dark hair, but Seyfried's got a captivating quality about her that's perfect for the role. Like Stone and Woodley, she's also got experience starring opposite the criminally attractive (exhibit A: Justin Timberlake in In Time) and has proven herself as one of the top young stars to watch in Tinseltown.

50 Shades of Grey: Who Should Play Anastasia Steele?

It’s time to hold an open casting call for our heroine, and “sex mad and insatiable,” Anastasia Steele.  Author E.L. James describes Ana as “a pale, brown-haired girl with blue eyes too big for her face,” but we also know that she’s clumsy and shy, while at the same time tenacious enough to be able to keep up with our dear Fifty Shades.  Once again, People.com has nominated a panel of leading ladies to play Ana, and while I agree with some, I had to add a few of my own.  Here is our roster of candidates to play Ms. Ana Steele (clockwise from top left):
Shailene Woodley – plays Amy Juergens in the TV series The Secret Life of the American Teenager and starred in the 2011 movie, The Descendants.
Emmy Rossum – starred in movies such as Mystic River and The Day After Tomorrow.  Rossum currently plays Fiona Gallagher in the outrageous TV series, Shameless.  However, will fans of the Showtime hit I be able to see her as anyone other than Fiona?
Felicity Jones – look for her in movies such as Hysteria, Like Crazy, Chalet Girl and The Tempest
Rooney Mara – I know, I know, the first thought that comes to mind is the harsh Lisbeth Salander look that she’s maintained well after The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo finished filming.  But please remember her as in the photo above and concede to the fact that she has definitely proven her talent.
Alexis Bledel – You probably remember her as Rory Gilmore in the CW series, Gilmore Girls.  She also had roles in the 2005 Tarantino film, Sin City, as well as The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. No one can deny Bledel matches Ana’s description pretty spot on.
Ellen Page – You probably remember her in Juno, as the pragmatic teen who finds herself in the midst of an unplanned pregnancy, but rest assured that she has come a long way since then, starring in films such as Smart People, Inception and To Rome with Love.
Other leading lady contenders include: Olivia Wilde, Minka Kelly, Evan Rachel Wood, Elizabeth Olsen, Rachel Bilson and Emma Stone.  Vote below for your favorite actress to play Ana Steele or leave a comment nominating who you think should be considered.

'Magic City': It's take two for Willa Ford, post-pop stardomWilla Ford has a second chance thanks to "Magic City"

Willa Ford plays Janice Michaels on the Starz Network's "Magic City."
( / April 20, 2012

While the drama "Magic City" offers the Starz network a bid for critical glory, it's also serving as a second chapter for one of its sexiest players: Willa Ford.
If the name sounds familiar, it's because Ford was a pop diva in a heyday that saw chart peers including Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys. "I Wanna Be Bad," her biggest single, showcased a hard-bodied blond with some specific intentions.
But now she's all grown up, married to retired NHL player Mike Modano and stepping out with a serious role on "Magic City." The Ministry sat down with Willa to talk about her secret life as an athlete's wife, mistakes from her pop past and her racy TV role.
Ministry of Gossip: So your music career is compelling and this TV role is impressive, but please tell us first about being a hockey wife [Ford married retired Dallas Stars player Modano in 2007]. Hair-pulling and all.
Willa Ford: Hockey wives! Well, most of them usually marry their high school sweethearts. They're from small Canadian towns and they're more down to earth. There's another breed that have decided they're multimillionaires and now life is all about them, they're famous because of their husbands.
MoG: And you?
WF: Then there's someone like me who came in, already had their thing going on and ended up trying to fit into this life. I also knew he was getting close to retirement. I do miss the fashionista portion of being a wife in Dallas, because it's all about what you're going to wear to the game. You'd think its all jerseys and jeans -- not in Texas.
MoG: Speaking of Southern belles, your "Magic City" character isn't for the faint of heart. As the pilot opens, your character Janice is, um, assisting a gentleman -- sexually -- while he's driving.
WF: I definitely thought, 'How in the world do I explain this to my grandmother?' And here I am trying to show people the bad girl thing [in my life] is over. But my husband was fine with it; he made a really sly remark about how we should probably practice.
MoG: A lot of your peers from your pop days are still working their schtick. Backstreet Boys are still touring and what-not.
WF: You know, more power to 'em. They could probably spend the rest of their lives touring and earning a living. But I've put all my energy into acting, coaching and classes and working as much as I can. It's what I love. And I didn't spend all of my money.
MoG: At 31, you've had a couple different incarnations but you're still really young. What do you think now when you look back on your pop career?
WF: Back then I didn't depend on my talent enough. I can say it now and I couldn't say it then, but I'm a really damn good singer. That hyped-up, sexual side of me, I let it water stuff down … I would do all of it again, but I do think taking that time off helped. I recognize it now, I maintain a very solid life.

(Willa is the honest version of Britney Spears)
