K-Stew wanted to make the best version of the film she could — and now she’s revealing that the only way it would work was with nudity! Do YOU think she went too far? Kristen Stewart went topless for her role in On The Road, and now she’s revealing WHY she shed her clothes for the part!
K-Stew, 22, tells MTV News that she had to wait to take the role until she was old enough to go naked. “It’s something that’s so talked about [and] predetermined — especially considering how young I was when I first started talking about everything,” she said. “It would have been done different — very differently — if I was younger. You do want to get as close to an experience as you can, and anything that feels guarded in this particular movie would be so against the spirit of it.” Kristen also told our sister site, Movieline, that she truly found herself while reading the book as a teen. “I learned through the book that you really have a choice about who you surround yourself with. [As a young adult] you realize you can choose who you’re surrounding yourself with. Up until that point you’re really circumstantially with your family or whatever but at some point you can ‘choose’ your family.”

TIFF 2012 Review: The Lords of Salem (Directed by Rob Zombie) PLOT: Heidi (Sheri Moon Zombie)- a radio DJ, receives a strange package with an LP recording by a band called “The Lords”. After playing it on the air, she begins to sink into a pit of despair, drugs and degradation, all the while being watched over by her enigmatic landlord (Judy Geeson).
REVIEW: Appearances can be deceiving, and thus I was deceived when I heard Rod Zombie, master of the hardcore- was debuting his new film about witches and Salem at TIFF's Midnight Madness. I walked in expecting Grindhouse exploitation, but rather- I got Zombie's most ambitious film to date.
Gorgeously photographed by Brandon Trost, Zombie's movie takes it's time setting up the sinister tale. We spend a lot of time getting to know (and like) our main character, Heidi, as played by Zombie's wife Sheri. She does strong work as the vulnerable Heidi, who juggles her work as a radio DJ with the “two Hermans” (Ken Foree and Jeff Daniel Phillips) while trying to maintain her sobriety through weekly trips to AA.
The horror of LORDS doesn't really start to kick in until about a third of the way in, after the track by “The Lords” is played, to the distress of a local historian (Bruce Davidson) who's convinced there's something amiss.
Meanwhile, Heidi's world is being taken over by her deceptively kind landlord, played by seventies Brit icon Judy Geeson, and her two cousins, played by Pat Quinn and Dee Wallace. These three, who form a modern coven of sorts are really what LORDS OF SALEM is all about, and their performances, including graphic nudity (possibly of the prosthetic variety), and surreal flashbacks to the Salem trials, are fearless.
The last part of LORDS is likely what's going to divide audiences, as Zombie goes right down the rabbit hole, with the film taking on the vibe of an early Roman Polanski film gone mad, or Kenneth Anger at his most Satanic. To me though, this is when the film really kicked into high gear. It's bold and experimental (not to mention gross) but damn if it's not unlike anything I've seen in a horror film for years. THE LORDS OF SALEM feels like one of the most authentically “evil” films since Anger's INVOCATION OF MY DEMON BROTHER, and the Catholic in me was totally freaked out. But- at the same time, I was utterly absorbed by Zombie's nightmarish psychedelia.
While I doubt this could ever be embraced by the mainstream to the relative degree his other films have been- a cult following seems a given. If you're into some weird shit- LORDS OF SALEM is not one you can afford to miss.
The Lords of Salem
If you’re not a fan of Rob Zombie films yet, The Lords of Salem won’t be the one to win you over. Even if you like The Devil’s Rejects, this is a bore. Heidi LaRoc (Sherri Moon-Zombie) is a Salem radio DJ who becomes plagued by visions of witchcraft. As an attempt to take witchcraft seriously, the mythology and imagery are both ridiculous. From Jonathan Hawthorne writing an overwrought letter in a 1600s flashback to the ugly dudes in cloths and aborted fetuses popping up from the dark, it’s the worst kind of silly because it takes itself seriously. Zombie does give us a naked coven of witches dancing in front of fire, but you’ve got to take the bad with the good. They’re all different ages and body types. On the plus side, Bruce Davison totally brings it as a witchcraft expert who actually tries to uncover what’s happening to poor Heidi.

Toby Stephens Set As The Lead In Starz’s Michael Bay-Produced Series ‘Black Sails’
British actor Toby Stephens (Die Another Day) has been cast in the lead role of Captain Flint in Starz’s upcoming pirate drama series Black Sails, executive produced by Michael Bay. The eight-episode series, created by Jon Steinberg and Robert Levine, is set 20 years before the events in Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island and chronicles the adventures of fabled buccaneer Captain Flint and his men. The series is in pre-production in Cape Town, South Africa, with Starz eying it for a launch in early 2014, possibly inheriting the Spartacus slot.
Stephens will play Flint, the most brilliant and feared captain of all the Golden Age pirates and commander of the pirate ship Walrus. Threatened with extinction on all sides, he and his crew fight for the survival of New Providence Island, the most notorious criminal haven of its day — a debauched paradise teeming with pirates, prostitutes, thieves and fortune seekers, a place defined by both its enlightened ideals and stunning brutality. For Stephens, repped by Paradigm and UK’s United Agents, this marks his first major role on a U.S. series. In Britain, he recently starred opposite Lucy Punch in the BBC dramedy Vexed.

Wallis, whose credits include X-Men: First Class and W.E. along with TV programs The Tudors and Pan Am, will play a mysterious new arrival in the neighborhood who peaks Tommy’s interest. The Tiger Aspect/Caryn Mandabach Productions crime saga is produced by Katie Swinden, with Otto Bathurst directing. Writers include Knight, David Leland, Stephen Russell and Toby Finlay. Principal photography has just gotten underway in Birmingham and Leeds. Peaky Blinders is expected to air in 2013 in the UK. Wallis is repped by ICM Partners and United Agents.

32-years old Italian actress Elisabetta Cavallotti fearless performance in Guardami (1999)
[contributed by spyral]
One of my all-time favorite movies is Guardami starring Elisabetta Cavallotti. I am floored by the things she does "in the name of art" for this movie. Not only the explicit blowjob on a porn actor that everyone talks about. But for me, the more amazing scene is when she is performing on stage in front of hundreds of onlookers. During this scene she lets a crowd of men grope her (everywhere), lets an audience member explicitly insert his thumb into her vagina on stage, licks the cock of another audience member through his underwear and more.
I have heard a rumor that she was drunk during the filming of the audience performance and got carried away. Supposedly she just went with it and barely remembered details later. Considering the amount that clearly happened during the shoot, I feel that the director's cut was trying to be as tasteful as possible (e.g. the licking of the cock through the underwear, the thumb in the vagina are quick cuts, not lingering shots). My suspicion is that more in fact happened that was not included in the final movie.
The first audience member on stage was clearly taking advantage - using every opportunity to grope, insert his thumb, etc. At one point as she is bobbing her crotch up and down over his face, he extends his tongue, clearly trying to lick her pussy. Later she backs her bare vagina against his mouth in a 69 position. From angle of the camera you can't see what is actually happening, but I have to assume that he was actually licking her pussy in this moment. They cut to shots from the front with her sitting on his face for an extended period. Her facially expression certainly looks like she's being licked.
The second man who gets on stage (whose bulge she licks) is only filmed for a total of 5 seconds. But she at least stripped him down and licked his crotch. What else happened in that sequence? In general, the movie cuts away each time the action appears to escalate (e.g. when she is being fingered in the crowd).
It is hard to believe that these scenes could have been very finely scripted. More likely it seems to me, the script detailed the flow (e.g. jump into the crowd and let them grope you) and not the details (e.g. man one: rub your fingers over her clit, man two: pull her panties to the side exposing her pussy lips). There was clearly improvisation. The crowd and participants seem frenzied and doing the things to her that they want as opposed to actors closely following direction. Obviously this could never happen in a US movie.
I would love to see what ended up on the cutting room floor. Today, I came across a link which made me wonder if there are more details available. A supposed behind the scenes interview with the director, discussing her stage performance:
http://www.wackaway.com/2011/06/guardami.html?zx=a5587fb26bc89533
Unfortunately this is posted to oron.com which is not longer up. And unfortunately I don't speak Italian. I have not been able to find any other reference to this interview.
I am also curious if any of the hundreds of audience members have recounted their tales of what they saw that night. Would be really interesting, if not to see it, to at least know how far the show went. For that matter, I can't even find articles with interviews of Elisabetta or the director discussing the filming.
Found an interview with Elisabetta:

In "Guardami" c' e' una scena realizzata alla manifestazione erotica Misex al PalaVobis di Milano, il pubblico non sapeva che era un film
"Non credevo che gli uomini che erano li' fossero davvero eccitati. Poi il primo che sale sul palco, mi fa sentire il sesso duro, mi mette una mano dentro: io non ci sto, lo picchio, e anche l' altro che cerca di leccarmi, lo schiaccio, gli fo male".
Rough translation:
In "Guardami" there is a scene made at the event Misex erotic the PalaVobis of Milan, the public knew not that it was a movie.
"I did not think that the men that were there were very excited. Then the first one that comes on stage. It makes me feel hard sexually. Puts a hand in. My body was there but my mind was not. His hardness. The second one trying to lick my pussy. I was hurting from the pleasure/pressure.
MiSex is a porn event that takes place twice a year in Milan. During this there are live strip shows and porn stars take the stage in front of a large crowd. I've looked at videos of some of these shows and occassionally the porn star will use a dildo on themselves on stage (never to completion). Sometimes they will bring a random audience member on stage for a lap dance (typically very tame with the audience member allowed to touch breasts and butt). Sometimes they crawl along the edge of the stage and allow the audience to grab some breast / butt before moving away.
I just learned that the scene was filmed at MiSex. That's an annual Italian event that features live strip shows, porn stars, etc. So it was not a closed set and the audience was the MiSex audience, not extras. Of course the on stage performers could have been plants.
The scene Elisabetta filmed at MiSex was in 1999 when the event was held at PalaVobis (a theatre in Milan that holds over 8,000 people). The crowd did not know she was an actress or that a movie was being filmed. They thought she was another porn star. I would love to find amateur footage of Elisabetta's performance at MiSex in 1999, but so far I've only found a couple clips of other performers that year.
When she jumps into the audience at the beginning and is extensively groped, these are random members of the crowd, rubbing their fingers over her clit and pushing her panties aside to try to finger her. The savvy porn stars don't let this amount of contact happen, but Elisabetta was too drunk and too naive to know where the boundaries should be.
She grabs a true random audience member to bring him on stage for a live show. She strips him down to his underwear and lets him take full advantage, including sucking on her nipples (again, something not even the actual porn stars let the audience members do) while she grinds against his hard package through his underwear. At this point, she is surprised by the aggressiveness of the audience member, but goes with it.
She takes of her panties while the man continues to get "feely". Then she proceeds to bounce her exposed sex inches over the man's face and extended tongue. The next cut is her bouncing and writhing in front of the man with her exposed lips near his crotch, while he grabs and fondles her breasts. At this point, the audience member gets extremely bold and inserts his thumb into her vagina, working it in and out to stimulate her, while Elisabetta's face contorts with surprise, ectasy and confusion. That the director chose to include this explicit and unexpected event is interesting.
Next, a drunk and horny Elisabetta spreads her legs so that all 8000 men can see her exposed. Her nipples are rock hard. She begins to finger her asshole and pussy but the director includes this footage only briefly. She proceeds to crawl around the audience member in a doggy style position, wagging her exposed pussy lips and asshole for 8000 men to see. She is drunk, horny and frenzied. What happens next is a bit of speculation, since we do not get to see it. But whatever happens causes the audience member to get kicked off the stage. Since he had remained on stage for a good amount of time after thumbing her vagina, we must assume that to get kicked off, he tried to go further still. I believe he tried to have sex with Elisabetta, but you can draw your own conclusion.
In order for the show to continue, a new audience member jumps on stage voluntarily and she beckons him over. Again he fondles her breasts and she strips him to his underwear. Although this time she is more attracted to the man and french kisses him while she strips him (again something the porn starts would never even consider and the director includes for only one blurry frame). In her hornied state, she worships his bulge and licks his cock through his underwear. The camera cuts away before we see the details of how far this scene went. At this point it's clear that the actress is out of control and her actions are driven by her libido and her blood alcohol content. The director includes brief hints of the details of the action but could have been much more lurid. Probably was concerned about people saying that anything more would have been exploitation and not essential to the movie. But there is gold out there on the cutting room floor.
Elisabetta decides to give this second man a floor show so she lays him down and stuffs her panties entirely into her pussy. She pulls out one end, now slick with her juices and puts in in this man's mouth. She squats over his face as he pulls the panties completely out with his teeth. Next, she gets in a 69 position with the second man. She backs her completely exposed and vulnerable ass and vagina directly into his mouth. After she had licked his cock, and he had tasted her juices, what do you think he did? Elisabetta acknowledged during later interviews that the second man licked her vagina. Did she pull away in horror at this violation? No. She continues to writhe on top of him with his tongue in her pussy for an extended period until she has an orgasm.
It's clear that Elisabetta got carried away and went much further than any porn star at that show with random audience members. For a soap opera actress to do this on stage in front of 8000 horny men is incredible. To me, this behavior is far more shocking than the explicit fellatio scene she performs later on porn star Alex Mantegna (who she chose because he does not have an enormous cock).
To me there has never been another mainstream actress who has gone so far - particular in the audience participation segments. I am fascinated to know more. Do any of the blog visitors/readers know of any more details about this film?
* Guys, do you have any nude/sex scenes you cherished or fondly remembered you want to share with us? You're more than welcomed to send in your own review of that particular scene with pics, links to an interview or article including videos. I'll will post it on my blog.

A look back at Paget Brewster in Huff
* she was in mid-30's when she did the show. Paget is a classic nudity-dodger even if her sexy performance in Huff was at her most daring (the nudity was done by a body-double). She allowed Hank Azaria plenty of leeway to fondle, grope and rub her pussy (implied). Paget is reportedly bi-sexual and have hooked-up with Suicide Girls in the past. Loves photographing women in the nude. Very chummy with Hugh Hefner and actually was close to posing nude for Playboy before realizing Criminal Minds was a better option for her career at that time. Currently dating musician Steve Damstra.

Davison ‘making a mockery of Miss World’ title
By Seán McCárthaigh
Rosanna Davison has been accused of bare-faced cheek by the organiser of a leading beauty pageant for using her Miss World title to promote a nude shoot in the latest edition of Playboy magazine.Angie Beasley, the organiser of the Miss England competition whose winners participate in the Miss World finals, yesterday said Davison’s topless poses had made a mockery of her association with the beauty contest.
"It’s such a shame Rosanna felt she needed to do this. Someone in her position doesn’t need to strip off and bare everything."
She accused Davison of being a poor role model for young girls who might believe they have to strip naked in men’s magazines in order to get noticed.
"I personally think it’s degrading for any woman to pose in this way so publicly," said Ms Beasley.
She pointed out that the rules of the Miss World contest prohibited entrants in the competition from posing nude or topless.
"I feel it makes a mockery of the whole thing that she has chosen to use her Miss World title to promote topless and nude modelling, which is not what Miss World is about at all.
"I’m really disappointed, and I’m sure lot of other people are too."
However, Davison, who features on the front cover of the German edition of the Hugh Heffner-owned magazine, is publicised as the daughter of singer, Chris de Burgh, rather than in her role as a former Miss World.
The 28-year-old Dubliner has been unapologetic about her raunchy topless poses, claiming she was urged to do the shoot by both her parents — father Chris and mother Diane.
"When I was asked to pose for the magazine I went straight to them for advice and they absolutely encouraged me to do it."
Davison expressed delight with the general reaction to the pictures and described the entire experience, for which she is rumoured to have received a six-figure sum, as "really enjoyable".
"The shoot was a lot of fun and the reaction has been incredibly positive."
She is due to return to Ireland today from a family holiday in New York.
Seán Montague, one of the organisers of the Miss Ireland competition, a title Davison held in 2003, said he had no issue with her decision. "Rosanna is a great girl. Fair play to her," he said.

Stanley Long 'King of Sexploitation' dies
British film-maker Stanley Long, known for directing a string of low-budget sex comedies in the 1960s and '70s, has died aged 78.
Dubbed the "King of Sexploitation", Long directed such films as On the Game and Sex and the Other Woman. He was also behind 1976 film Adventures Of A Taxi Driver - a rival to the hit Confessions films starring Robin Askwith - which spawned two sequels.
Long's family said he died of natural causes in Buckinghamshire.
The film-maker became a millionaire in his late thirties after producing movies that mixed bawdy comedy with female nudity.
His X-rated sex farces starred a number of household names, such as Diana Dors, Liz Fraser and Ian Lavender.
He also gave Shirley Valentine actress Pauline Collins her first big break.
Long began his career as a photographer for Picture Post. After serving in the RAF he began taking nude photos for a men's magazine.
He later turned to making movies with his company Stag Films, producing more than 150 shorts before moving to features.
West End Jungle, a 1964 documentary about Soho's sex industry, caused an outcry and remained banned by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) until 2008. The following year it was screened on BBC Four.
Recently Long worked with his post-production company, Salon, on such films as Batman Begins and V for Vendetta.

Interview With New Babe On The Porn Block : Teal Conrad [Ham Radio]
Up and coming porn actress Teal Conrad calls the show. Not only do we think the 19-years old has potential to be one of the top stars, but we think she is hands down one of the most beautiful porn girls we have ever seen.
* Teal could be the next Tori Black. She is gorgeous, a fitness model to boot with perfect deriere and gives off the same coy vibe but I'm-all-whore-inside just like Tori. More than an hour of revealing interview with Ms.Conrad. She talks about everything including her fantasy of doing IR Gangbang, she was in church when she phoned her agent telling him to arrange her first MMF. An accomplished snow-boarder. But personally I don't she will last more than a year. She is studying at UCLA and it's sayonara when she graduates. Unless she is warped sexually, don't see her doing IR's, Anal, DP or gangbangs.

Ex Porn Stars Are the 99 Percent
The documentary After Porn Ends is more about work than sex.
Which, to me, just seems incredibly sad. This after all, is Asia Carrera, a woman who ran away from home at 17 and pulled herself together to become a successful businesswoman and a world-famous name and face. Yet, despite all of that, what she wants is validation from some random group of self-declared smart people. For someone like her to need the approval of someone like them is an apocalyptic admission of neediness that's depressing to think about.
The natural conclusion to leap to, of course, is that the neediness and the porn career are inextricably intertwined: that Carrera entered porn because she needed to be loved, and/or is so unsure of herself because she's ashamed of her porn career.
There's certainly a fair bit of evidence in After Porn Ends, available on iTunes now and on DVD later this month, to support such suspicions. A number of the former performers link their entry into the industry to child sexual abuse and/or to drug addiction. And nearly all of them talk about the bitter stigma of being in the adult industry. Houston lost her job selling real estate when a client recognized her. Randy West—who otherwise seems fairly happy with his career—talks bitterly about the fact that most charities won't allow adult stars to donate to them. Even more poignantly, he suggests that his career in the adult industry made it hard for him to form normal relationships, and thus may be responsible for the fact that he never married and has no children.
One expert talking head argues overdramatically that being an adult star cuts you off from all personal ties. Given the way many of the ex-stars talk about their families and spouses and kids, he's obviously making a gross generalization. But at the same time, it's clear that if you're a former adult performer a lot of people are going to judge you—and you can see how, living with that, having Mensa declare you worthy might pack a certain punch.
So it is possible to watch After Porn Ends and come away with the impression that being in porn is a traumatic psychic and social wound that will never heal. But I don't think that that's exactly a fair conclusion. Carrera herself says she has no regrets about doing porn, and talks emotionally about the outpouring of donations and support she received from fans after her husband was killed in a car accident just before the birth of their second child. Porn in this case didn't isolate her; quite the contrary. And even the Mensa thing—yes it strikes me as pitiful, but is it really any more ridiculous than me looking at my blog's statcounter? Everybody needs reassurance, not just porn stars.
Which is not to deny the particular awfulness or difficulties of porn. Asia Carrera talks about enjoying the chance to have sex with some good-looking guy and get paid for it, but Shelley Luben (now an anti-porn crusader) clearly experienced many of her scenes as rapes. Even Tiffany Millions, who is not especially negative about her time in the industry, describes the work in unintentionally disturbing terms. She says that during sex she would often feel like she was outside of herself looking down: a textbook description of dissociation from trauma.
Millions originally got into the porn industry because of her daughter; as a single mom, she had a choice between spending all her time working a minimum-wage gig—or being a porn star for a few hours a week, making more money, and spending most of her days with her kid. She chose the obvious option, treated it like a day job—no parties, no drugs, no alcohol—and quit when she inherited some money and didn't have to do it anymore. These days she has a great relationship with her husband and daughter (whose almost tearful "you're my hero mom" would make a stone verklempt) and works, quite happily, as a bounty hunter.
I say she works "quite happily," and she does in fact seem to like her job. But there are some downsides. The one anecdote she relates is about repossessing some old lady's car because her son was a deadbeat. She's philosophical about it, but obviously found it quite unpleasant, and who wouldn't?
Most jobs have some unpleasantness of course—and blue collar jobs have more unpleasantness than most. Millions's experience does make you wonder whether porn is truly, exceptionally horrible, or whether it's just a particularly visible examplar. Minimum-wage service jobs, or factory work, or police work, or military service—those things don't involve having sex onscreen, obviously, but they're all arguably degrading, depressing, and potentially dangerous or traumatizing. For that matter, I have friends who are teachers in the public school system, and they are often treated terribly by administrators, parents, kids—everybody basically. Many of them have issues with depression and something that sounds a lot like post-traumatic stress.
Several of the commentators note that most people don't get into porn unless things in their lives have already gone awry. Not all, but most of the porn workers (and especially the women) interviewed here were sexually abused, or had run out of money, or were addicts, or had no support network—they were people who had been pushed into a corner. The film might have done better in illuminating this corner if it had had the elementary courage to interview black or Latino performers, and to think about race as well as class. Even as it is, though, the film makes it clear that porn for many performers was a way out of a dilemma—or, for some, a way to compound it. Either way, it wasn't porn that created the marginalization or the desperation. And I wonder if the focus on porn as porn distracts from the real issues at stake for many of the folks who make it their livelihood. Porn is sensational, more or less by definition, but it doesn't necessarily follow that it's distinctive or central. Really, based on this documentary, the problem porn workers encounter seem like problems lots of workers encounter: abusive working conditions, inadequate (or more often non-existent) pensions, and lack of options. The stories here—the financial disaster Houston faces when she is first fired and then diagnosed with cancer, for example—are ones that could confront any non-former-porn-star in the swelling ranks of the lower middle-class. The antipathy and contempt porn workers face is perhaps more intense. But it's not necessarily different in kind from the antipathy and contempt that workers in general face. If anything, it's remarkable how many of those interviewed look back on their time in porn with satisfaction, and seem to have liked their jobs. Would that more of us could say the same.
