Michael Ealy flips the van in Almost Human [S1E5]
Nicely done albeit gimmicky scene. Wasn't expecting that. Michael Ealy plays an android with high artificial EQ in this inconsistent sci-fi series often bogged down by patchy direction and weak editing. Minka Kelly was particularly awful. Her constant frowning expression and poor diction was a massive distraction. Anna Torv had that constipated look perfected in FRINGE. Minka acting like there is a big-c*ck-in-her-ass hence for that non-stop grimace. Props to J.J. Abrams for creating some of the most inspiring female (lead) characters on TV and movies but from ALIAS' Sydney Bristow to FRINGE' Olivia Dunham - nearly all of 'em were bunch of wet blankets. It seems like Abrams and his writing team are incapable of creating a female persona with a sense of humor. Brave: yes. Heroic: hell yeah. Cute: oh my. Sexy: quite rare. Funny: big nada.
