Dutch Photographer Katy Strange Snapped Everyone In Her Bed For 789 Days.
You’re a student at a Dutch art academy. You’re at a party where you meet a petite brunette. You hit it off and she invites you back to her place for shenanigans. After a few hours of vigorous, arthouse lovemaking, you pass out. When you wake in the morning, you scan around her room, trying to figure out where your clothes ended up. Your little horizontal-aerobics partner wakes up too, and the next thing you know, she’s grabbing a camera and saying “One more thing” (only in Dutch) before she snaps a photo of the two of you.Well, over the course of 789 days, Katy Strange did just that.
The photos are presented pretty much without explanation. Katy describes her companions rather ambiguously as “friends”, so these could be some old chums visiting from out of town without the means for a hotel…or something a lot more fun. It’s Holland after all, so for all we know these students are off finding fixes for their reefer addictions at the local “coffeeshops” with all the money they make from the state-sanctioned prostitution. (Warning prudes: There might be a few nipples ahead. It’s black and white, so it’s art.)
