Jessica Lowndes Joins Jason Patric, Bruce Willis in 'The Prince' (Exclusive)
John Cusack and Rain are co-starring in the action movie, currently shooting in Alabama.
90210 star Jessica Lowndes has joined the cast of The Prince, the action thriller starring Jason Patric and Bruce Willis.
The script by Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore (San Andreas) centers on a family man (Patric) who turns out to be a tatted-out retired mob enforcer and must travel across the country to find his college-age daughter, who has gone missing.
Lowndes will play the movie’s female lead, a troubled college co-ed who partners with Patric’s character and travels with him to New Orleans’ seedy underworld of sex and drugs.
Randall Emmett, George Furla, Adam Goldworm, Ho-Sung Pak and Fred Song are producing the action thriller, which is budgeted in the $10 million range.
Lowndes, who starred for five seasons on The CW’s 90210, just wrapped Eden, an indie thriller in which she stars alongside Ethan Peck and Diego Boneta. And she has Larry Gaye: Renegade Male Flight Attendant, a screwball comedy with Stanley Tucci and Molly Shannon, in the can.
She is repped by CAA, Aperture Entertainment and Sloane Offer.
* With a lavish budget hovering around $15-$18 million and R-rated, pretty sure we would have some kind of nudity. Bruce role should be a glorified cameo. The original director was a Russian before he was replaced by Brian A Miller which is odd considering he just completed work on similarly themed Daddy-on-a-rampage with The Outsider. My sole interest on the latter flick was due to hot skinny blonde Melissa Ordway.
There is actually two female leads in The Prince. The other one is Gia Mantegna paired with Korean star Rain if her tweets are anything to go by. Gia reportedly did her first topless scene in Undiscovered Gyrl (yet to be confirmed). It's a toss who is going to show some skin in the actioner. I'm going with Jessica. The operative word 'troubled co-ed' and traveling with Patric is a fuse for flirty behavior on canuck's part. We can expect the duo to crashed at a motel at some point and Jessica's character cock-tease Patric's.
Of all the female regulars in that crappy series 90210, my nudity vibe strongly resonated with Jessica. Always thought she would be first to disrobe on-cam post-90210.
AnnaLynne McCord is a major cock-tease with implied nudity so far but nonetheless a calculating broad who won't hesitate to perform real T-and-A if the right script comes along. Both Jessica Stroup and Shenae Grimes are against outright nudity. Nothing like time and long period of frustrating auditions and joblessness won't cure. Gorgeous Jessica is a different kettle of fish altogether. She comes across as a lone wolf just like in the show. There is a hint of desperation beneath the burning ambition to make it as an actor and that she willing to do anything to stay ahead of the foreign talents thronging L.A showbiz scene.
I'd already speculated (scroll down) Jessica likely bared her bottom and side-boobs in Eden.
Jess is arguably Aperture Entertainment most well-known client. They have produced several shorts starring Jessica and co-producers of The Prince. The film scribes Andre Fabrizio, Jeremy Passmore are also on the AE roster.
Jessica posted couple of racy pics since BF-heartbreak. Could be more in the future if she shows her tits in The Prince.
