The Girl's Guide to Depravity: S2E13 Preview [SPOILERS]

The 'The Coming Together Rule(13 Dec. 2013) [S2E13 - Season Finale]: Nudity Report

The final episode of the season starts off in Bootleg. All the girls are hanging out...Sam, Amy, Megan and Jenna. Megan notices that there are literally no men in the bar. The entire place is filled with women. Suddenly Tyler bursts in with Blair following closely behind. Both are clearly upset. The girls learn that Tyler misread something on his immigration forms and now if he doesn't get married immediately, he's facing deportation. But they're not ready for the wedding - none of the arrangements are ready, they need a marriage license and worst of all, Penni's gone missing. Sam snaps into action and gets Megan working on the marriage arrangements, Jenna working on finding Penni while she promises to get a hold of a license.

Next we find Sam calling and waking up Jason and Rachel over at Jason's apartment. She's downstairs and she tells Jason's she's coming up. Its an emergency.

Up in his apartment Jason tells Sam he's sorry but he doesn't know anyone at city hall who can help her get a hold of a license. Then, from out of the bathroom, Rachel (
) calls out that she does. As she comes back into the room we see (along with a shocked Sam) that she's neglected to put on pants. Many looks at her butt as Sam begrudgingly accepts Rachel's offer to help. After which Rachel goes and lies on the bed face down, almost literally sticking her butt in Sam's face.

The next day we see Megan outside the flower shop. She's on the phone with Sam (who's speaking to her from an outdoor cafe near her work). Megan can't bring herself to overcome her fear of the facing the florist. She's trying to go in and arrange the flowers for the wedding...but she just can't. As Sam tries giving her advice, Dean is listening in on her conversation and belittles the advice. Sam tries one last time to convince Megan to bite the bullet, but Megan just can't do it.

Back at Sam's office, Dean is already sitting at Sam's desk when she comes back in. She almost explodes at Dean when he tries to call a truce. He tells Sam to let him make it up to her. He offers to coach Megan on how to handle guys so she can overcome her fears and take control. Sam isn't buying it at first but Dean says he knows he can be a douche but promises he's not being one this time and the two strike a deal. Dean sets up a meeting with Megan.

We next cut to the outdoor cafe where Megan arrives surprised to see it was Dean who called the meeting. She's skeptical at first, but excited when she learns that Dean is going to reveal some secrets about how to get the upper hand with guys. As he begins to talk we go to the flowershop where Megan enters to face the florist with new confidence.

Next we're at Pink Lemonade (the lunch restaurant Sam's always going to with the funny counter guy). He's sarcastically thrilled to see her again, anticipating another of her indecisive ordering incidents, but to his surprise, Sam's focused this time and for once she knows exactly what she wants. She jumps on a call with Jenna to find out if she's gotten ahold of Penni yet. Jenna says she hasn't yet as Sam tells her about how Dean helped Megan overcome her fear of facing the florist. Jenna wants to know what was in it for Dean, and is surprised to find that the act was completely selfless. It makes her think twice about the fact that Dean may have been acting selflessly with her when he was warning her about Ben.

Back at the flowershop we see that Megan (
) has definitely overcome her hangup with the florist as the two are going at it on top of one of his display tables. She's on bottom. Looks at her breasts and both of their butts as they stand after finishing. On her way out the door the florist tells Megan he'll call her later, to which she replies..."Don't."

Back at Camilla's office, Camilla is trying to get her anal bleaching appointment moved when Megan comes in needing her to select some samples for one of their clients immediately. As Camilla tries to blow her off, Megan displays some of that new confidence of hers and orders Camilla to stay and do it now. Camilla complies and Megan is clearly proud of herself.

Back at Sam's apartment, the three girls still have no idea where Penni is. They've checked everywhere. Then Megan remembers that Penni stole her phone (she swiped it in Bootleg in episode 12). She realizes they can try to track Penni using the app. They turn it on and are surprised to see the address on the app is Bootleg. Jenna says she checked everywhere in Bootleg...everywhere except the men's bathroom.

We next see the three girls finding Penni passed out in one of the stalls. They revive her and she springs into action running out of the bathroom.

With everything in place for the wedding, Sam heads over to the Rec Center to rally her fellow students to help her make a chuppah (Tyler promised his Bubbie he'd get married under one). There's a quick cut to the finished chuppah and Sam is ready to go when Ryan shows up behind her. Sam's shocked to see him. She asks why he didn't call he when he got her love letter. Ryan explains he's been out of town and he came down here as soon as he got back. The two kiss. Sam professes her love for him and then she tells him something that touches him...she wants him to meet her friends.

Over at Dean's apartment, Jenna (
) has just showed up. She wants to apologize to him for the way she blew him off when he texted her and thank him for the way he helped Megan, but he seems really upset. Jenna pleads with him to forgive her. She says she doesn't want Ben or anyone else. She wants him. Dean tells Jenna she doesn't want him, she wants the drama. And when Jenna suggests she's changed, Dean breaks down. He tells her he doesn't think people change. He says what never changes are people hurting the people that love them and at first it seems like he's talking about Jenna and Ben but Jenna realizes he's actually talking about himself and another girl who clearly hurt Dean. Jenna's touched. The two begin kissing and then making love on his couch. She's on top. Lots of long looks at her breasts and butt. As the scene ends they realize they're going to be late for the wedding.

Next we cut to Bootleg decked out for the wedding. The entire gang is there (almost). Tyler and Blair wait at the altar. Penni's nowhere to be scene. Neither is Ryan. Finally, Penni emerges and waits. With no one to walk her down the aisle, Dean springs into action and walks her to Tyler. The wedding begins and without giving away too many surprises everything goes (almost) as planned and once the wedding is finished the entire gang begins to celebrate. Then Ryan shows up. He took as long as he did because wanted to make sure he looked really good to meet all of Sam's friends. She meets him at the door and offers to introduce him to everyone. He seems visibly nervous.

(Again, trying not to spoil too much of the humor

The reception is a number of very funny vignettes tying up many of the various characters' story lines. One of the vignettes features Jason and Beth () talking, as Jason wants to clear the air about how he had no idea Beth was Charlie's girlfriend. There's a quick flashback to the scene from episode 5 between Jason an Beth and there are looks at her breasts and butt.

One of the main things we see throughout the reception is that Ryan, ever the weirdo, is acting strangely normal. So normal that all of Sam's friends (anticipating a big weirdo) are commenting on how not strange Ryan is. Sam's actually weirded out by how normal he's being. Since when does Ryan care what other people think? Until Sam realizes, its not the other people Ryan cares about. All his efforts are to try and make a good impression for Sam...he wants desperately not to embarrass her in front of all of her friends. Its a sweet gesture. But Sam loves Ryan the way he is. So, much the way he's encouraged her to be herself throughout the season, Sam encourages Ryan to be the weird guy he is.

Sam and Ryan are happy. Jason and Rachel seem happy. So do Dean and Jenna, Charlie and Beth, Amy and Carrie and Blair with Tyler. And Megan seems comfortable all by herself for a change. The season ends with the girls re-affirming their friendship as they head to the bar for another drink.

Season 2 was simply terrific and superior to S1. further maturing as an actress to be reckoned with. Hard to believe she is in her late 20's what with her youthful look and unbridled, honest enthusiasm for acting. Her transition from the stage artist to the screen is complete in this season. Smooth and sexy like hell : )
My 3 nominees for Best Nudity of 2013 includes vivacious nudecomers and curvaceous with perennial nekkid queen from the north .
Tessa storyline played out more as a comic relief angle and she rose to occasion effortlessly thanks largely to natural cutie-pie factor and almost nudist-like casualness in performing the more racier aspect of her character. Meg never wavered once as Jenna - sexually aggressive and emotionally fragile in equal dose. The camera loves her and she returned the love tenfold.

Wholeheartedly agree with you. What a fantastic season and cast. Love the acting and the humor - Rebecca Blumhagen is excellent and probably my favorite. But honestly I enjoy watching everyone in this show. Hard to find this many likeable characters and this much fun on any show let alone hidden away on Cinemax. I hope I'm wrong, but get the sense they don't realize what they have. You'd think they'd do more promoting. I really hope its back for season 3. Any word yet?

No news yet. Don't worry, though. Everything is pointing towards a renewal. GGTD is growing in popularity albeit very slowly (recently started airing in Latin America) despite HBO/Cinemax mind-boggling hesitation to properly plug the show. It's sad Cinemax are distancing from the very genre that made them an unique brand. Hybrid show like GGTD deserves respect.
