The Biggest Movie Fail of 2013

The biggest movie fail of 2013, courtesy of horror flick Storage 24

STORAGE 24 isn't the most absurd movie ever made.

Sharknado probably made less sense.

But the British sci-fi/horror film did put in the most absurd performance at the US box office last year. It was the lowest-grossing film of 2013 in the States, earning just $US72, Yahoo reports.

There are no zeros missing there, by the way. This movie actually made less money than you'd get for working one day at McDonald's.

Storage 24 only played for one week in the US, and at just the one theatre. Still, $72 ... what is that, like five movie tickets? This lady's face says it all.
“Oh my god ... that’s horrifying.”
Her name is Laura Haddock, and she's one of the actors who devoted actual time and effort to this incredible flop of a movie.

The plot's fairly simple. A bunch of people are locked in a London storage facility with a scary alien.

They fight for their lives, there are some screams along the way, yada yada yada.

There's probably more to it than that. You can buy the DVD and find out if you like. Goodness knows the people who made this thing could use a boost.
