Katrina Bowden Lands Leading Role in TNT’s ‘Public Morals

“30 Rock” actress Katrina Bowden has been tapped for the female lead opposite Ed Burns in the TNT pilot “Public Morals.”

Steven Spielberg is exec producer through his Amblin Entertainment banner.

The pilot is set in 1967 in New York City’s Public Morals Division, where cops walk the line between morality and criminality as the temptations that comes from dealing with all kinds of vices can get the better of them.

Bowden will play a seemingly sweet and innocent prostitute with street smart edge.

Bowden is repped by UTA and Management 360.

The logline: “New York City, 1967. In the Public Morals Division, cops walk the line between morality and criminality as the temptations that comes from dealing with all kinds of vice can get the better of them. Cop Terry Muldoon (Burns) knows the line between the good guys and bad guys is thin, and he is determined to raise his sons to be honest and hardworking as he deals with the dark underbelly of the vice world.” Other executive producers on the project: Steven Spielberg, Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey and Aaron Lubin.
