Kate Upton and German Vogue have teamed up to create some sort of mini-movie, thankfully set to music rather any dialogue whatsoever. In the above GIF, Kate can be seen riding a horse and continually bouncing. And yes, horseback riding is a sport we often cover, so this one was a match made in sports blog heaven.

I was bit preoccupied with Katie McGrath and totally neglected Leslie Mann topless scene in This Is 40.

The question on many of nudity hounds mind - Is it CGI? Let me play devil's advocate here....

She was CGI-ed all the way in The Change-Up (2011):

 

It's either state of the art rotoscoping or using computers to smooth out the prosthetics worn by Mann.

I believe (and I could be wrong) the same company responsible for the CGI in The Change-Up are also working on This Is 40 : Level 256.

In The Change-Up, Level 256 worked closely with Gradient Effects.

But in This Is 40 they collaborated with Rhythm and Hues.

If they perfected the technique to realistically rendered CGI-Breasteses and Nipples (and also bring the cost down to reasonable level), it will be the end of true nudity on screen. Nudity dodgers will be jumping in joy and cable shows can hired actresses without worrying about nudity clause or resorting to hiring foreign talent.

I have yet to watch This Is 40. Mann has couple of topless scenes and my argument is moot if she indeed bare it for real. My paranoia level is quite high after what conspired with Mann, Olivia Wilde and Alba in Machete.

JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT found fame in the 1997 American slasher movie I Know What You Did Last Summer.

She made her film debut at 13 and was in the hit TV series Party Of Five from the age of 16.
Jennifer, 33, won a Golden Globe nomination for her role as a hard-up single mum who takes a job in a massage parlour in the TV movie The Client List.
Here, she tells GARTH PEARCE what she wishes she’d known at 18.

WHEN I was 18, I did things like an 80-year-old woman. I didn’t have a big social life and stayed home to watch re-runs of The Golden Girls.

I don’t drink. I don’t smoke. I have never done a drug in my life. I don’t curse, either. So I was a dorky goody-two-shoes.

Sex? I was about as sexy as a peanut. I had the sultriness of a clam. But what changed it was doing a film called Heartbreakers, with Sigourney Weaver, in 2001.

It was about a mother and daughter con team who seduce rich men and I had to play sexy.

The director, David Mirkin, told me what he wanted from me and I thought: “My God, if I do that, I’m going to scare small children.”

He told me to go home and look in the mirror and have a conversation with myself to make myself feel sexy. It sounds strange, but it’s true.

What I also did was interview a group of my guy friends and ask them to tell me what makes a woman sexy, because I had no idea. I loved playing the bad girl. Wearing outrageous clothes was very liberating. I was usually a jeans and T-shirt girl.

I had a boyfriend at the time who noticed a change in me. I stayed sassy and having a witty tongue in the movie carried over to my own life.

He loved the fact that the babe in the hot outfit in the movie was actually me. His first words were: “Can you keep the outfits? Can you walk around in them?”

I think when you are a young woman figuring out who you are, you are worried, in a weird way, to feel sexy and good about yourself. I’ve always turned down parts with nudity. I didn’t like to look at myself naked, so I did not want the world to look at me naked either.

I don’t mind the rest. I do not mind having my boobs accentuated. I would much rather have attention on my boobs than my big butt.

I’ve been the size I am now since the age of about 12 or 13. But I always kept them hidden when I was in the TV show Party Of Five.

When I starred in the film I Know What You Did Last Summer, in a tiny top, people were asking: “What did she have done?”

If I had to give advice to anyone who is 18 and coming in to this business it would be to make time for friends and romance. I’ve promised myself that even though I love my job, it is not my life. My life is the people I meet and the time I get to spend with them. So even though I love working, I try to make people smile.

I wish, at times, that I did not have to sacrifice so much.

I never particularly wanted to act. I just wanted to sing. I have a hard job speaking in public and become very nervous. But when I sing, the nerves go for some reason. So I wish my younger self had more confidence. I was confused when I was younger. One minute I was judged to be the girl next door, the next it was a vixen.

I was brought up in small-town Texas. My dad left home when I was two weeks old and my mom, Pat, married again. She and my stepdad separated when I was ten.

When we decided to head off to Los Angeles, it was because neither of us had anything to keep us in Texas.

My mom (who died of cancer, aged 67, in June) was my best friend, my partner in crime and my manager.

So I still have a lot of growing up to do. 

* As Hewitt points out (I highlighted it ) and other female performers have talked about it in interviews and bios, that physical insecurities is one of the main reason for actresses reluctance to do nude scenes.The usual 'against my moral principles' crap is well below down the short list and more likely a handy excuse. The fact JLH is talking about nudity is a good sign. Praying The Client List is scrapped for good soon so we can see 33-years old JLH titties comes out to play in a 'brave' and 'challenging' performance on yet to be made indie flick.

Do Horror Movies Objectify Women?

The horror genre is typically set forward as a genre for men alone. It is somehow thought that women tolerate the horror genre only because their male partners enjoys them. I would have to say that this is the farthest from the truth based on the fact that 38% of our readers are female. Two of our most talented contributors Mary aka DirtyGirl and Jamie Jenkins aka MovieMaven both know more about the genre then I do and are female.

The horror genre is dominated by strong women as well as us males.  As far as whether the horror genre objectifies women I have to both agree and disagree. I recently read an excellent paper by Dr Jason Edwards written in 2007 where he makes a valid argument that the horror genre not only objectifies women but is a way for males to get off on women being victimized. In his paper he states that men prefer to watch horror movies where women are objectified and lack intelligence.

I find this plausible but also highly insulting. I will admit that I watched and loved movies like I Spit On Your Grave and the truly shocking Dead Girl but not for the gore but rather for the outcome. I want to see where it goes and when the end game is even more vicious for the instigators of the suffering it brings me great pleasure. I am a fan of justice and when a filmmaker wraps it in a tightly woven and brutal horror movie whether the victims are female or male is irrelevant to me.

I have said it time and time again I do not watch movies for gore and although I look looking at a pretty girl as much as the next its not reason enough for me to see a movie. I am also not a fan of movies that lack substance and are entirely focused on putting as much pain on the screen as they can.

I am mesmerized by films with a moral message and a vicious outcome like MARTYRS, Dead Girl or Surveillance ( which is directed by a woman ). I am also not a fan of horror films that cast their female leads based on great breasts and perfect teeth. Beauty much like gore does not make a good horror movie.

If you look back to the early genre classics like Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Friday the 13th there is no question that women are being objectified. The remake of Friday the 13th got more buzz for the Jullianne Guill sex scene which really makes Dr Edwards point to a T. A really hot girl doing soft core porn who then finds herself impaled by the villain.

Although there is plenty of exploitation of women in horror movies there are a lot of very strong female characters in horror as well as female voices within the genre itself. American Psycho, Surveillance and the upcoming American Mary which everyone is buzzing about are brought forward by strong female talents.

Probably one of the most obvious filmmakers who has taken a shine in recent years to strong female characters is Neil Marshall. He has done it twice now first with his cave dwelling film franchise The Descent and more recently with Doomsday starring Rhona Mitra.

We do not have to look at the last 10 years to find a strong female character. Sigourney Weaver in the ALIEN franchise made an evolution through the franchise from a victim to one of the strongest women ever portrayed in horror. It was no man that brought down the Alien Queen it took a strong woman to get the job done right where Space Marines could not.
There is nothing weak about Kathy Bates in the film adaptation of Stephen Kings MISERY and Auntie Ruth from The Girl Next Door is far from a withering flower as she invokes untold cruelty on the neighbourhood.

Frankly for every movie that objectifies women I can find a movie which shows off the power of a woman. I think that Larry Darren said it best on our facebook page when he wrote ‘Ass kicking women make the world turn man. Beautiful, powerful what more could a man want’

The horror genre for me is not about objectifying women it is about getting an adrenaline rush from filmmakers who dont rely on peek-a-boo nudity and cliche carnage but rather try to up the ante and truly terrify us while telling a great story. So yes I agree that many horror movies do objectify women in horror movies but not all of them do and to chalk up the fans of the genre as perverts for that reason is wrong…. especially considering 38% of our community ( and growing ) is female.

Saucy Star Wars strip show - sorry, burlesque - to tour Down Under

'Wookierotica', sexy stormtroopers and yes, gold bikini

Disney's acquisition of all things Star Wars has some fans in a lather at the prospect of new films set in the Lucasverse.

Here at Vulture South, The Reg's Australian outpost, some are in a lather for an entirely different reason, namely the return of the revue Star Wars Burlesque: The Empire Strips Back.

The show's creator says the performance doesn't necessarily involve nudity, as he dislikes notions that burlesque always has to end up with a pile of smalls on the floor.

As the NSFW video below shows, the production will certainly leave you feeling rather more kindly disposed to storm troopers. You may also find out whether Jabba the Hutt bought Princess Leia just the one bikini.

The show is billed as a parody and is definitely not in canon. It's also proving hard to suppress: since debuting late last year, it has enjoyed several seasons around Australia. A new run of shows kicks off in early December at Sydney's Vanguard Theatre, just in time for Vulture South's Christmas party.

The show has spawned merchandise including aT-shirt and a NSFW 'Wookierotica' magazine.

There's even a burlesque Batman spin-off doing the rounds.

Jessica Marais' risque new role

Jessica Marais has a risque new role that would shock her Aussie fans.

She made a name playing wholesome Rachel Rafter on family TV favourite Packed To The Rafters. But in her new show, Jessica Marais looks anything but innocent, as these racy photos show. 

The new mum, who had her first child, Scout, in May with fellow Rafters star James Stewart, stars in the Foxtel drama Magic City. And her new role has pulses racing with its saucy story-lines and full-frontal nudity! 

Jess plays mobster’s wife Lily Diamond in the drama, set in Miami during the 1950s – and in just about every episode, the 27-year-old actress strips down to her smalls (and yes, often even less!). 

But Jess seems unconcerned that stills from the show are now all over the internet. “One of the reasons I did Magic City right off the back of Packed To The Rafters [was] to shake up the image of the girl next door,” she recently told The Kyle And Jackie O Show.

XXX Wasteland Exclusive Interview: Natalia Starr

The first thing I’d like to ask about is obviously your appearance on the cover of Hustler magazine. How does it feel to be this month’s cover girl?
I’m very honored that they chose me out of all the beautiful ladies out there! (Laughs)

For sure. Can you tell us how the cover appearance came about?
Well, I have an agency (L.A. Direct Models), so my agency sent me to the Hustler studios. I went there and they took some pictures of me, and they called my agency back for a photo shoot. And, that’s what happened. (Laughs)

Very cool. And you also have a feature photo spread in the issue as well, is that right?
Oh yes, I do.

Going back a little bit, can you tell us how you initially became interested – and now involved – in the adult industry?
Well, I had always been curious about the adult industry. I found it fascinating how people could express their sexuality, have fun and be open with it. I felt like that was me – I could do that. I could express myself and entertain other people at the same time.

And how long have you been involved in the business?
I started in August, so I’m fairly new.

Have you enjoyed your time in the industry thus far?
Oh, yeah! I find it very fun and interesting.

Do you have any long-term aspirations in mind for your career?
I just want to do the best I can. Whatever happens, happens.

You attended the Exxxotica New Jersey convention earlier this month, is that right?
Yeah. It was very fun. I met a lot of different people. I met a lot of different models. I also met a lot of producers and photographers. It was really fun and interesting. I was expecting it to be like that and it came true – my expectations came true.

Very nice. Was that the first convention you had been to?
Yeah, that was my first convention.

Who have been some of your favorite studios and performers to work with thus far?
So far, I only have experience working with companies owned by Manwin. I like all of them – I can’t complain about any company I have worked with. They all treat me very fair and they are all really nice. They respect me and they share the same views of the porn industry as me. So, everything seems to be okay. (Laughs)

Are there any companies or talent whom you haven’t had a chance to work with that you would like to in the future?
I would like to shoot for Jules Jordan or Wicked or Vivid. All those companies are great; I would be lucky to shoot with them.

Prior to your entry into adult entertainment, did you have any preconceived notions about the business that you have discovered to be untrue now that you are a part of it?
I thought it was much harder, to tell you the truth. I thought the sex scenes would be more intense and more choreographed. But they’re not. It’s like, “Do whatever you feel like – whatever makes you hot and whatever makes you feel good.” So, I was expecting it to be more choreographed than it is.

On the flip side, are there any misconceptions from those outside the industry that bother you?
They think that all porn stars are stupid and they have issues and what not. Which is not true. They think that we’re just crazy and we don’t care, but we actually do care about our bodies. (Laughs) People are so silly.

(Laughs) Absolutely. May I ask a few questions about yourself as a person if that’s alright?
Oh, yeah! I’ll try to answer them. (Laughs)

(Laughs) Great – thank you. Can you tell us where you were raised and how you would describe yourself growing up?
I was born in Poland and I came to America when I was seven years old; I lived in Brooklyn in New York City. Then, I moved to Queens to an ethnic area, so I grew up with a lot of mixed people. So, I didn’t grow up with my own race, I didn’t grow up with Polish people. I grew up with all different kinds of people, so that made me more open with other people and I guess it made me appreciate everything more. I’m attracted to Spanish guys and black guys personally. (Laughs)*

(Laughs) Right. How about favorites – favorite T.V. shows, movies, musical artists and things like that?
I like the Big Bang Theory. It’s one of my favorite shows, I watch it all the time. Whenever I get the chance, I try to watch it.
And I like this U.K. show – it’s called Skins. It’s about teenagers getting crazy doing drugs, partying, having sex and what not. It’s a pretty crazy show. They tried to remake it in the United States – exact episodes, exact theme – but with American actors. It just didn’t work. The U.K. version was so much better. I started watching the American one and I’m like, “It is so bad!” (Laughs)
Music – I like all kinds of music. I listen to country, rock, hip hop, jazz; I like piano-playing. I like all music. I don’t know – I’m weird. (Laughs)

(Laughs) Is there one thing about yourself that you think would surprise a lot of people?
I masturbate a lot. (Laughs) I don’t know if that would surprise people. (Laughs)

(Laughs) We spoke about your Hustler cover earlier, but are there any other current or upcoming projects that you would like to mention?
I’ve been shooting a lot, so there are going to be a lot of movies coming out. And I always update my fans on what movies are coming out on my Twitter as soon as I find out from the producers or the directors. I make sure I tell my fans to go watch it. (Laughs)

To finish up, is there anything you wish to say to readers?

Teen Nudist Q-and-A

Lifelong family nudist, born in 1994 and going to college now, living at home with my mother and teaching ballet and piano, volunteering my time at the nudist resort I was raised at and blogging a few things I believe in and think about.

I have a million things to tell you about being a nudist, and I was born into this lifestyle. But my best (and oldest) girlfriend can give you a better perspective because she came into this later into her childhood. We met at the Cherokee Camp Resort and have been inseparable since. And now we both are in college together, we work more closely on such issues as teens and the nudist lifestyle.
We understand this world has a bad spot on it that has evil people roaming around amonst us, and they have made our lifestyle seemingly a hard existence. Obviously I’m speaking of child molesters and child pornographers, and if there was a way to eliminate them from life’s equation then many lives would be easier and peaceful.
We, Sara and myself, my mother, my Aunt Missy, among others within my close circle, have been fortunate to never had to confront the issue, but I have decided to spend my life educating the people about our lifestyle and the legal presence of such activities – and the freedom, fun, innocence and love we all enjoy as nudists.

Aren’t nudist beaches and camps dangerous for children, preteens and teenagers?
Some people think being nude in public is dangerous especially if you’re a child or preteen boy or girl or a teenage girl or boy. They think nudist beaches are full of sexual predators waiting to molest young girls and boys, and that nudist camps are dangerous. Are they? The answer is no!
Nudists are really nice people. You’re totally exposed to each other and that makes you more open. Of course any place can be dangerous! But nudists are very helpful and friendly.
There are even nudist youth camps and I heard they’re lots of fun! And they check on the people who work there so they’re safe. Even if you’re not at a camp nudists know they’re part of a special group. That’s why we look out for each other!

What was your first nudist experience?
I wanted to be a nudist when I was 10 or 11, and I was naked with other girls or women in a hot tub or the shower at school for years. But I didn’t finally become a real nudist until I was 12 when I went to a nude beach with my adopted aunt. I’m 18 years old now so that was six years ago!
I was a little nervous at first. I felt nervous about having people look at me when I was totally naked, and didn’t know where to look at other people. I started out wearing a bikini, then took my top off. Nobody really paid attention to my boobs, but one couple looked at me and smiled. I thought at first they were staring at me, but then I realized it was just because I was the only one there wearing bikini panties! I think they could tell from how I acted that I was a beginner, so they were just being friendly.
On some later nudist trips I saw other people wearing bikini bottoms or shorts. Sometimes it’s because they’re new and they’re still nervous, and sometimes it’s because they’re women or girls on their period.

What are some good experiences you’ve had as a teen nudist?
I’ve gone to public and private nude beaches and to nudist camps and had a great time!
My best friends have gone to naturist events too. Mindy first went she was 14, Becky was 16 when she went, and Germana was 17. My friend Kayla was 18 and Clarice was 17 when they went to their first skyclad Beltaine. Germana’s brother Mexi was 14 his first time as a nudist.
Harmony was a lot older when he first did it so you can be older too! All of them loved doing it! And my best friend Samantha is 18 years old but shes been a nudist since she was a baby. She’s totally comfortable with her body and doesn’t feel any shame. Being naked with other nudists feels really free and natural.

And nudists don’t stare at you upstairs or downstairs either. They look at your face. If you don’t know where to look at people just look at their smiles! You usually look at people’s faces when you talk to them even when you’re dressed, right? Really people stare at you more when you’re wearing a bikini than when you’re naked! Nudists see the human body as natural.
I rode with some friends in the World Nude Bike Ride which was really fun. It’s an international event that’s held to raise awareness of pollution problems and with saving the earth. I had a lot of fun at different nudist holiday parties, playing games and even dancing! And I love getting body painted. You feel naked but you look dressed! I went to some nude Wiccan ceremonies and even helped with a pagan nudist hand fastening! And I rode a horse naked! I sat on a blanket but next time I won’t. (See my links below!)
My favorite things to do naked are use a hot tub and go swimming with friends. Being nude feels really free and natural!

Have you ever had a bad nudist experience?
Only one time and that wasn’t really bad. This guy who was dressed was staring at us. My Aunt Lizzie, who’s my adopted aunt, walked over to him and talked to him really friendly. Then she said he could feel free to undress and join us! He got so embarrassed he left! lol

Do nudists touch each other when they’re naked?
The short answer is yes. Nudist shake hands with each other just like people do when they’re wearing clothes. But being naked is different in some ways. Some people like naked hugs but others are uncomfortable, especially if they don’t know the person really well. You don’t have to hug anybody or touch anybody or be touched if you don’t want to! But nudists are respectful.
Nudist usually don’t touch each other as much as people do who are wearing clothes, but some do. If you don’t want someone to hug you and aren’t sure how to say no, just put out
your hand for a handshake! Really that’s true even if you’re wearing clothes.
Nudists don’t usually sit on each other’s laps except that some Mommys and Daddys let their little kids do it. Some rub each other’s backs and put on sunscreen just like people wearing bathing suits do! But you have more body parts to put sunscreen on! lol But usually people take care of their own private parts and do that before they get to a nudist event.
My friend Samantha’s family touches each other a lot! They hug each other, Sam’s mother, Kate, is open, friendly, innocent and warm. She is like a neighborhood mother to many of us and has no problem with her position. She seems to love it.
I went to a skyclad Wiccan Beltaine or nude Summer of Love where after the ceremony we danced and even kissed each other! But that was with different groups than I usually see and we were being hippies! lol That’s only the second time I did that. You almost never kiss anybody at a nudist event.

Is there a difference between Nudist and Naturist?
Nudism and Naturism can be the same thing. But some Naturists like being nude outdoors and in natural surroundings. Some of them recycle, and eat natural foods, and do things that are good for the earth. But of course you can be an indoor Nudist and still help the earth!

Isn’t nudism just an excuse for sex?
No way! I’ve seen lots of couples wearing bathing suits making out with each other. You almost never see nudists do that! It’s not because we’re not romantic but because we don’t want people to get the wrong idea. If you want to make out in public, put on a bathing suit! lol
I’ve been a nudist for 6 years and I’m a 18-year-old virgin! Most girls who aren’t nudists lose their virginity by the time they’re 16. Mindys a 19-year-old nudist and shes still a virgin.
For preteens and young teens, my friend Sam is 18 and she hasn’t done more with a boy than give pecks on the lips. Before Mindy and I became nudists we both French kissed when we were 12! So really I think nudists might wait longer to have sex. Sometimes preteens and teenagers get excited because they wonder what the boy or the girl they like looks like naked. You can be totally curious! And that can make it really exciting, too exciting! But if you see people just chilling naked on the beach or at a nudist resort, being naked doesn’t seem sexy anymore. It just seems natural!
Be careful because there are some places that call themselves nudist camps that are for sex. But they’ll let you know that on their websites or in their brochures. If it says it’s only for age 18 or older that’s a clue! But some nudist places are only for adults even though they aren’t about sex. Sometimes nudist parents want to get away from their kids just like nudist kids sometimes want to get away from their parents! lol

Do you have any recommendations for a first-time teen or preteen nudist? Or even for afirst-time adult nudist?
First you should know people judge you less for how you look when you’re naked as a nudist than when you’re wearing clothes. You’ll see people of all ages from babies to seniors and
nobody you’ll see will look like a professional model. They’ll have birth marks and scratches and surgery scars and scabs and wrinkles and stretch marks. They’ll all look like real people so don’t be shocked! lol So it’s cool that you just look like a real person too!
Always bring a towel because usually you’re expected to put it on chairs before you sit down. And if you’re going to be outdoors always use plenty of sunscreen first! You want to get it all over your body so get help from somebody you feel really comfortable with.
It’s a good idea to go with somebody you know who’s already a nudist. Don’t go by yourself and of course if you’re young go with a parent, aunt or uncle, grandparent, or some other adult you know really well. Even though nudism is legal you don’t want to get them in trouble! So go with someone who has the legal right to take you. And make sure you’re being a nudist where it’s allowed.

Can I be Christian or Jewish or Muslim and still be a nudist?
Of course! There are a lot of Christian nudists, like my friend Samantha and her family who are Catholics. There’s Jewish, Wiccan, Buddhist, and lots of others too! I know a Muslim nudist but she can’t tell any of her Muslim friends which is sad. There’s nothing wrong with the human body. If you believe that God or Goddess created it, how could it be wrong? But not everybody understands that, so you might want to be careful who you tell about it.

Can you be too old or too young to be a nudist?
No way! There are nudist babies, nudist children, nudist preteens, nudist teens, nudist adults, even nudist seniors! You’re never too young or too old!

What do you do if you’re a girl and you’re on your period?
That’s up to you! Some girls won’t go nude when they’re on their period, but you can! I like it better when I’m not menstruating but I’ve gone naked. Some nudist sites require everybody to be naked so you don’t get any voyeurs, but usually they’ll understand if you’re on your period. Ask first.
Some women wear their swimsuit bottom or panties at nudist get togethers during that time of the month. You can go naked if you use a tampon. But if you do, you’ll want to cut most of the string off so it’s not so obvious. You can even swim or use a hot tub when you’re on your period, but you’ll want to wear a bikini bottom just in case.

What do you do if you’re a guy and you get an erection?
All guys worry about being naked with other people and getting an erection. Well guess what? Guys at nudist camps and beaches almost never get erections! If it’s your first time you’re too nervous, and if it’s your second time you’re used to everybody being naked.
But if it does start to happen you can just go to the restroom until it goes down, or go in the water where they can’t really see it, or just wrap your towel around your waist to cover it until it goes down. Nobody will think anything bad if you do that! You don’t have to be embarrassed at all because nudists understand that it happens sometimes. It’s totally natural, but isn’t something you show off! lol So just cover up and you’ll be ok!

Can I nurse my baby when we’re both naked?
Of course! I know lots of women who do. It’s not like anybody will freak out seeing your naked breast! lol You can be totally comfortable nursing your baby when you’re nude. I think a mother nursing her baby is the most beautiful thing in the world.

How can I find a good place to be a nudist?
The best place is at a nudist resort, camp, or a nudist party. It’s private and there’ll be other nudists there to help you. You can also go to a nude beach, but make sure it’s legal there first. Nudism is legal for all ages, but not everywhere!
But nudist events don’t happen only at camps or beaches. They could be in a forest, a backyard with a swimming pool, someone’s house, or really anywhere it’s legal!
You can find nudist places on the Internet and check the links below, but if you’re young have someone help you. A lot of times if you do a search for “nudist” you’ll see links to a lot of porn sites! That’s really sad but it’s true. Sometimes you can search by taking away words you think might be on a porn site. So you could type in “nudist” and “-sex.” So really it’s better if you type in “nudist” and minus sex words that you’d find on a porn site but not a nudist site. Or you could use filtering, but sometimes that filters out a lot of nudist sites too!
Another good way is to a get a guide to nudist camps and resorts. You can find these online too.
Always find out the requirements for a nudist site before you go!

Any other advice for a wanna be nudist?
When you do it have fun! Think about having a good time and not how you look. You’ll learn that other nudists are there to have a good time too!

Non-Nudists’ Questions for Nudists

Thanks to a visitor named Brad for the idea. I am always looking for ideas from anyone willing to take a shot here. If I don’t make a post on your idea, chances are you got one up on me. But Brad asked if I’ve had ludicrous remarks or questions by non-nudists. I’ve had a few here and there. Some are in the form of a question and others are in the form of a remark.
I can’t think of all of them and that might take me some time trying to remember them. If I miss any I may post a second article later. I’ll probably have to write them down as I go along.
But in recent years I’ve heard:

“It must make you horny seeing all those?”
Horny? No. The possible exceptions are the occasional guy that has been known to turn me into a babbling idiot. But for a to turn me on it would have to be an extremely special one. Now I’ve seen a guy smile and it has melted my heart me. I love an awesome smile. You have no idea what a smile can do to a girl. I really like eyes. But I’ve never been taken by an awesome.

“Damn, and you’re not a lesbian?”
If a girl automatically turns lesbian because she is hanging around a bunch of other nude girls, then the high school girls’ showers should be proclaimed a danger zone. I really don’t think having nude friends makes you automatically gay. I think it takes more than that.

“Sex must come easy for you people.”
Nope, sorry. I can count on my fingers how many times I’ve had sex. And I can’t even tell you if I was good at it or not. My last boyfriend failed to give me my report card so I don’t know where I stand on that one.
No, sex is not the objective here, or on the beaches I attended – maybe in Rio, but not here.

I liked Brad’s example, “The view must be awesome.”
I’ve gotten a variation on that one. I can only gather that non-nudists, because they don’t know the life, are excited by either the simple physical aspect of our lives that they only do when they are taking a shower, or changing their clothes; or that the general view of all those naked people is just new and exciting to them. And I can see either one being the case. I guess if a gorilla ran down the beach then I would have to be intrigued enough to claim that as an awesome sight.

“So if we went on our first date would you take me to your camp there?”
Nah… not if that’s why you want to date me. And even if I was ignorant enough to not see that was your intentions, I’d still not take you to my camp there. I mean that doesn’t even sound reasonable for a first date.

“So do you get naked for just anyone, since it is your ‘lifestyle’?
How many times do you see me pick my nose in front of you?

I’ve heard theses terms and comments, “Babefest”, “Orgy heaven”, “Party, Dude!”, “Oh man, tits for days!”, “That sounds sexy”, “Eww balls” (that one came from a teenage girl)… and so on.
Art Linkletter was right, kids do say the darndest things.

“Do you need to shave [down there] before going to those places?”

Well, it’s not necessary. And more people are natural than shaved. I mean, this isn’t a weekend Playboy shoot. But hey, if you like it, do it. But to ask me that makes me think you need advice on what your favorite movie is.

Oh God, I can’t believe I remembered this one. The same guy who said “do you just get naked for anyone” said this once, “It must stink there?”
You don’t even touch that one. There is not a damn thing you can say to justify that remark. Hindsight is not even 20/20.

“So what do you people sit on?”
We don’t. We like to stand all the time. Usually we stand around with our arms folded, waiting til it’s time to leave. It is customary to place a towel down when we’re sitting on communal chairs or in communal places.

“Do you see really fat people there?”
No! They all hide until dark and then they only come out clothed. And I am really shamed to say that this came from an older guy you would never expect such a question from. I seriously think he went home that night and felt really stupid for asking that.
On a related note, because my weight fluctuation, I was asked that during one of my heavier moments.

Oh this is a good one (mom reminded me of this one): “If you’re not comfortable can you leave?”
My mother says that they used to keep the clothed people locked up in a basement and feed them day old doughnuts until it was time for them to leave. IF they decide you can leave! Well, I can assure you, times have changed since my mother’s day. So, yes, you are now officially allowed to leave if you are uncomfortable.

Why Should I Become A Nudist?

According to my attitude on why you should be a nudist really is simple in that I just believe “Why not?” I mean, why not be a nudist? It’s a wonderful life to be free and expressive, open to nature and to see and know others in their most honest state of being.

“What do you get from being nude?”
Well, first of all, the process of taking a shower is quicker (I’ll be here all week, Folks! Don’t forget to tip your waitresses). What I really and truly get from being a nudist is the openness of nature, the freedom of expression and the wonderful feeling of life in its natural form. I was born this way and since then enjoyed the air surrounding my body, the warm sun on parts that normally wouldn’t get any. The water rushing through my body as I swim. The sheets wrapping my body like a security blanket. I get a lot of insecurities out in the open and after many years of being a nudist I get a lot less conscious over my flaws and imperfections. And then I see others nude and I get to see their flaws and imperfections only to realize that those are really just their characteristics.
So now my flaws and imperfections are just my characteristics. Good thing, too. Because certain parts of me seriously can make a girl cry. My ass is definitely not my favorite body part.

“Why should I become a nudist?”
Well, nobody ever said you should be a nudist. But you might want to look into it and see if it suits you. Honestly, growing up nudist has allowed for a few things I consider to be a bonus over those that choose not to be. First of all you really do get over the tits and ass thing about people (I call it that because it is easier to relate to when said that way). You over look people’s ‘naughty bits’ and see two kinds of people, men and women. And that’s all you see. You don’t see a bigger pair of tits coming your way and the jealousy I’ve seen eat other women up. There is something amazing about a naked person laughing and smiling (non-suspiciously) in complete harmony with others. A bond is there that is harder to obtain than if you were hidden behind a Versace.
The previous statement wouldn’t have worked had I said “boobs and butts” (I HATE the word ‘boobs’ !!!!)

“Don”t you ever wear clothes?”
Nope! Don’t need to when you live this awesome hedonistic lifestyle of naked people drinking margaritas and having orgies in the pool all day. It is just too exhausting to put on a bra and a shirt. And it was really funny when I was asked that, I was wearing clothes right in front of the person. When they asked me that question I just looked down at my shirt and looked back up at them. So they reiterated;

“I mean, other than where you have to [wear clothes]?”
Yes. I love this soft white bathrobe that my mother bought for me last Christmas. It is the most beautiful article I own. I have the most beautiful blouse I love to wear for special dates. And I have this dress that is just the most elegant I’ve ever owned and wear it any excuse I can find. I also enjoy wearing my Santa hat on Christmas eve at the food bank downtown when helping out.
I can only suppose that when people learn that I am a nudist they automatically think I don’t like clothes and detest all of you for wearing them.

“What about the people that stare at you?”
Well, when I’m at the resort NOBODY stares at me – unless it’s a girl or guy looking at me as a potential partner, just like in the ‘real world’ out there. I walk among others that are nude, as well. I walk among some people who are well better built than me and never have I felt a tinge of jealousy. We don’t stare at each other, mostly because it is rude. But otherwise because we are there to appreciate and enjoy ourselves as individuals who like being free to choose.
Now I can clearly expect stares if I were to hop a downtown bus nude. Now those people would bother me – mostly because I was bothering them. Yes, what about the stares? Well, on the way to school at 7:45 in traffic, the stares would certainly be the bad start to a bad day ahead of me. But where I am nude, it is natural and those around me are natural, too.
But I was born into this and it was not a choice. The only choice I ever had was to either do it, or not. I chose to do it. There was no peer pressure and my family didn’t force it on me once I was old enough to decide. As for a matter of fact, my father had once said that we will never go to those places [nudist resort] if it ever made me feel uncomfortable.
Nope! Not me, Buddy! Strip and run free. I love the lifestyle and cannot see myself any other way.

“What about when you begin to fall apart?”
I’ve been falling apart since the day after puberty struck. Every day I know I am always one day closer to everything going south. When I learned that kitties (vaginas) go south I was horrified. I know of a guy who was just as horrified when he learned what balls will do in time. The competition is fierce.
I see men and women of all ages and I am totally and completely aware and ready to grow old (and down). Being only 18 does not mean that a woman still can’t be fearful of things to come. I’ve been told by many that tomorrow I will wake up at 40 and wondering where the last 20 years went.
My mother works really hard to keep herself fit. But there are just some things she cannot keep up with. And she is 100% fine with it. This nudist lifestyle has made me fine with it, as well. Had Mom not told me (or I’ve seen it for myself) that Miss kitty begins to loosen up a bit, I would have been immensely surprised. And maybe depressed, too. But the education is there and I am fully accepting of what’s to come. (And maybe even continue living this nudist lifestyle as it is not what you look like but who you are).

“Why are people so much more afraid of male frontal nudity than women?”
*sigh* Oh boy! A social commentary question asked of an 18 year old. Well, please remember, I may be a little too young to be the all-knowing, but I have always felt that male nudity has been depicted in art and movies and such as the aggressor – the warriors, the fighters – the generals – the protectors – the MAN! And his genitals are just symbolic of his male image.
Women have been depicted as softer, gentle, mothers, nurtures. The breasts have been written in literature as the lifeline of their babies and the vagina as the birth canal for which life is extracted (such yucky wording, I know). So, and you may see this throughout history, women’s bodies, genitals and breasts, are depictions of art and beauty.
That same theory, I have always felt was instilled on us since we were little children (believe it or not, more than many know or remember). We’ve been taught since we were old enough to formulate the ideas that; “mommy is your safety zone and daddy is your protector!” (I’m beginning to see a bit of Tim Allen’s character coming through).
Even as a child when I got close to both parents, Mom was 100% safe when nude, whereas  I had to be a bit more careful with Daddy down there. When you’re five years old and Daddy comes home from work, little girls have a tenancy to run up to him and force this quarterback-like hug on him. And at that age her head is in direct alignment with his genitals, which can force him to have to lie down a bit, with a Ziplock full of ice.
But honestly, I wasn’t sure if being careful was due to the sensitive ‘balls’ issue, or that he was a man and I was a little girl and then lines get crossed. But as for me, I loved my Daddy so much and he loved us even more. I never had an issue with any of it. But there were times where he would quickly pick me up to avoid the ‘crashing of the junk’. Dad was an awesome interceptor. He turned the interception into an airplane ride for his little precious. Now older I kind of guessed it wasn’t so much to give me that ride in the air as it was to keep himself from being hospitalized.
I think you can see where the social attitude comes from when you think about a little girl sitting on her father’s nude lap, as opposed as her mother’s. And it’s really shameful because Daddy’s ‘area’ was no more sexual than his elbow, or his knee. To me it was just a part of him like anything else. What he did with it to my mother was both his business, and his humanly instinct of being a man. He, or my mother, never hurt me, touched me inappropriately or questionable ways. And I think that’s why I want to learn law, and practice someday, to be there for the children who have been hurt.

I know what’s out there and I am always sickened by stories I read (and man, do I read a lot of them). Nudists, I honestly believe, are more devoid of such actions because we have different attitudes towards human nudity and sexuality. We touch our children in the same exact way you would if they were clothed. We have sex with our spouses and we masturbate, just the same. Our attitudes towards our nude children, is identical to the self-respecting adults with clothes on toward their children – at least among the people I know in our resorts, clubs and societies. Genitals on children do not ever excite us sexually. They don’t even matter. The only time a child’s genitals ever mattered was when they were born and we needed to figure out if we needed to buy them a pink crib or a blue crib.
Sorry, I went off the subject a bit. But it was important that I say that based on my home life and all of the people (I said ALL OF THE PEOPLE) I have known all of my life in a nudist resorts both in Florida and in Tennessee, the children have been all safe up to this point.
Sorry… back to the subject now… And I repeat, that in the division over why nude women are more acceptable as opposed to men, in general I believe, women are depicted as the mothers (the Virgin Mary) or the victims (Hentai) or the receiver (pornography). And men are seen, generally, as the aggressor (pornography), rapists (Hentai cartoons) or the warriors (historical paintings and movies).
However, one friend of mine had once answered more simply with; “Because guy’s balls are gross.”

“Where’s the surprise?”
Well first of all, by the time the average male hits 18 he’s seen enough tits and ass that I would be surprised if they were surprised. And girls, well, we get our fair share of knowledge. And with the internet these days, I have to ask you, “Where’s the surprise?”
The surprise is really in the first night you make love with someone that means something to you. The first time you become intimate with someone and then you are now officially allowed to touch and do what you do with those body parts that have, up until that time, only been a source of knowing the difference between male and female. The surprise is in the feeling you get when you are touched physically by someone that you are close to.
You do know there is a difference between nude and sex. Right?
Seeing genitals and breasts all your life does not mean that the person in your life, that is closer to your heart, is no longer exciting because you’ve already seen enough ‘junk’ to be bored. He is yours and you do things with each other (and TO each other) that only you guys can do. There’s the surprise. The surprise is in the feeling of it all.
I can only imagine seeing your first naked body on the first night you have sex with someone really special to you might just take something away from the experience. I may be wrong there, and I hope I am, but knowing all you need to know beforehand, about what to expect, leaves more room for other things. At least that’s how it happened for me the first time.

“Is nudism all you ever talk about?”
No, actually Adele just sold her 10 millionth CD of her album, 21. I wished there was more people like John Candy. My damned computer keeps updating like every other week and it takes forever. The driver’s side window in my car doesn’t go down anymore. My bowel movement today had a bit of …
No, I don’t. As for a matter of fact I’ve been working all week on this paper for school that deals with the legal aspects of the criminally insane. How the legal system determines how someone is tried as insane and how juries determine their ‘not guilty’ outcome for the said accused. I also wanted to get into what makes the criminally insane as they are (but that’s another class some other day).
Christmas is coming and the food bank is VERY busy right now and I am almost certain that they do not want to hear about my skinny dipping excursion last Tuesday night in 37 degree weather. On this blog all I talk about is nudity and the surrounding society of such. But when teaching a 10 year old how to maintain her balance on the barre, then my shirtless lifestyle is defiantly inappropriate. I talk to them about dancing, music and what our lessons will be for the day.

“Don’t you feel a nudist blog, with your name on it, might be harmful to children?”
I teach piano and ballet at the resort. We are all already nude! I can understand if my potential ‘outside world’ career as a teacher might be effected by all the nudity here, and if it ever creates a problem I will take down the site without further notice. My career will have to come first. But I honestly would hate to have to compromise my lifestyle for the wrong social attitude toward me.

“You have naked pictures on here!”
Yes I do. Yes, I have naked picture on here and I love every one of them. I can’t see the thrill of anyone clicking on my blog and just sitting there reading every word with their chin in their palm, sighing at the lack of eye diversion. Too many words will only make it a book.
There is no PORNOGRAPHY! I leave that up to the internet junkies who had to post something other than anything constructive. I don’t get into pornography. I’ve seen enough pornography to know that it looks kind of stupid to me. If women really were like that in real life then it would be one noisy neighborhood. And the fake tits and tattoos – NO THANK YOU!
Oh my God, allow me to kind of fix what I just said. I respect your decision to delve into pornography. I respect that you have breast implants and/or tattoos. I am a liberal minded girl that I really and truly don’t mind what you’re into. I mean, I’m a smoker and I get dirty looks from unrespectful people, even when I’m not close to their personal space. I have always appreciated people’s difference and I enjoy seeing different people and the things that makes them different. I, personally, don’t care for tattoos (especially on your genitals) and I never have seen why any woman in the world would want bigger breasts. I always think people are beautiful no matter what their attributes look like.

“What’s the difference between ‘naked’ and nude’?”
Naked is the bare of something, usually in a non-secretive manner, as if your privacy has been stripped from you (no pun intended). Nude is the act of baring one’s self. Being open for you to see by choice. Naked is usually seen as a negative and nude is usually seen as a positive [I need to rethink that last line because I'm not 100% certain I said that correctly. I will re-read it later].
For example, if I’m taking a shower and you come in to open the curtain for people to see, then you caught me naked (and embarrassed). But if I am taking a shower and you are in there talking to me, chances are I will be in the nude (or just plain nude).

My friend Cynthia asked me about possibly going on our next weekend to the resort and asked me what she needed to do to prepare for it.
I told her to take some clothes with her. When we come through the front gate, make sure that she is wearing the clothing that she would normally wear in public. Come out to the pool with me and sit there, talking to me or reading, or writing, or chatting, or whatever, and then take a look at all the people with nothing on. If after a few hours you don’t find yourself stripping down, then maybe you need time to adjust to it or get psyched up for it. And if after a couple of times you can’t take your clothes off, then maybe it’s not for you.

“But I’m a lesbian,” one girl says to me [no names please], “so what if I get turned on by the nude women?”
I have a really neat little booklet that discusses our procedures and talks to you about such subjects. You are more than welcome to look it over and get a bit of educating from it. Otherwise, my best advice is for you to contain your obsessions, mind your own business and play nice. I’ve seen a few guys there that have the distinct makings of turning me inside out. But I’m certainly not going to run up to that rhetorical stage and throw my panties at him.
If you fancy someone, and you see that they are available, then just like in any restaurant or bar or library, you go introduce yourself and spark up a conversation – not staring at his willy (or her kitty). I met my first boyfriend there, as did my mother met my father at a resort.

Do you have a Facebook page?
Nope! Sorry. I did have one and realized that most people don’t seem to care about anything I have to say unless it had a puppy or a kitten in it. Birthdays are reminded by Facebook and you get bombarded by Happy Birthdays by people who wouldn’t know, if it wasn’t on that sidebar. I don’t want Pepsi chasing me if I mention the word ‘Pepsi’ or ‘soda’ in a status update. Sometimes, what’s on my mind is not appropriate to post in public. Plus, too many people fight about religion, politics and freedom of speech on there. It was not fun.
Not to mention the re-posting of memes day in and day out. And some were funny but over and over again was monotonous.
I do have everyone I know and love in my email address book and they have me. I have a chat service with MSN and so do they. I work 50% of my life on the computer and I have three windows up at one time: my chat box, my email account and NetFlix.
Well then, I think I covered everything I wanted to in this post. I have more but didn’t want this to be too long and boring. I’m going to go back and put up photos now. And I have to tell you, proofreading this took longer than the initial writing.
I have to get some sleep soon and go back to working on my paper before the holidays are over. I have a head start on it but ended up blogging about being nude (as I am being ‘naked’ to you all – get it). So I’ll go get those photos from my hard drive and hopefully have something to say to you tomorrow.

"Some of my friends have read it but I decided not to because I just heard about the content and didn't think it was something I should be reading," said the North Carolina State University senior, who is majoring in wildlife biology. "I think that it's kind of contrary to what the Bible says about fleeing from sexual lust and temptation."

Taylor is not alone. Many evangelical women say they wouldn't touch the best-selling book, often described as "mommy porn" because of its escapist appeal to working mothers and suburban housewives. But evangelical leaders also realize that some members of their churches and Bible studies can't resist.

A month ago, worried that the book – the first in a trilogy and the basis of a highly-anticipated movie adaptation – could harm Christian marriages, leaders at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary hosted a closed-door women's meeting on what it all means and what churches should do about it.

"I think they're asking first of all,'Is it truly pornography?'" said Terri Stovall, dean of women's programs at the seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Stovall moderated the session for the school's young women, who often are married to ministers or are single and pursuing ministry themselves. "We say yes it is because it creates pictures in your head."

Many of the sexual practices featured in the book – such as bondage, domination, sadism and masochism, or BDSM for short – were described during the meeting. "Especially my single students, they were,'Oh, my goodness,'" said Stovall.

But she said that reaction shows why they needed to talk about the book, even as many prominent women leaders cautioned against reading it.

Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson recently asked his female co-host about the book, expressing his "shock" that the paperback is selling at such a rapid-fire pace.

"You're a sweet, Christian girl – lady," he told Kristi Watts in early November on the Christian Broadcasting Network's "The 700 Club." "Do you see anything in porn that attracts you at all?"

"That is not an issue for me, thank you very much," responded an incredulous Watts.

Stovall said that closing one's eyes to the phenomenon just isn't a good option for evangelical women. "If they don't know it and we can't talk about it, they're going to get caught out in ministry blindsided."

In some parts of the evangelical world others are even trying to move beyond using the novel only as a cautionary tale. Instead they want to explore what the book's prominence can bring to Christian conversations about healthy sexuality.

In an interview for an upcoming issue of the magazine of the American Association of Christian Counselors, author Shannon Ethridge warned against a throwing-the-baby-out-with-the-bathwater mentality.

"I do not believe fantasy about one's spouse within a Christian marriage is sinful, but can signify a healthy sexual relationship," said Ethridge, author of a new response to the trilogy titled "The Fantasy Fallacy," released by evangelical publisher Thomas Nelson.

"However," she added, "fantasizing about individuals other than one's spouse (fictional characters included), serves no healthy or holy purpose."

Ethridge also does not recommend what she says some women have done: instruct husbands what to touch and say during sex because "That's what Christian Grey would do," referring to the male protagonist in the series who has a relationship with college student Anatasia Steele.

In fact, the BDSM aspects of the book are the most troubling parts for many evangelicals and are providing an opportunity for Christians to speak out about such practices.

"To find sexual arousal through the domination of women, regardless of who you are, is incredibly unhealthy," said Mimi Haddad, president of Christians for Biblical Equality, an organization that supports equal gender roles.

She suggests a biblical alternative: the eroticism in the Song of Solomon, which tells of a woman "continually taking initiative" in a sexual relationship with a shepherd.

Susie Hawkins, author of "From One Ministry Wife to Another," points to another part of Scripture, in 1 Corinthians, which opposes sexual immorality and speaks of a woman's body belonging to her husband and vice versa.

"A lot of Christian women say that this book ("Fifty Shades of Grey") has spiced up their marriage but you have to realize you're bringing another person in there, another party," said Hawkins, who was a panelist at the Southwestern women's forum. "That's just not a road that is going to lead to contentment."

She hopes more churches and ministries will have discussions like the Southwestern forum and not fear talking about something people have already read or are considering reading.

"Lead the way. If you don't, they will be swayed," she recommends. "It's messy and it's gross and you don't want to put it in your own mind but we have to do that."

But Marissa Elliott, a Boston-area adjunct literature professor and an evangelical Christian, said she has trouble understanding what all the fuss is about.

"The only thing that upset me was the quality of writing," said Elliott, who read the book about a month ago and considered it no better than your average beach novel.

Elliott, who admits she is probably an atypical evangelical, says the book hardly deserves a glowing recommendation. But it shouldn't be branded a marriage destroyer either.

"If people are going to take that and then look at their own marriage and say,'Why don't I have this?' they're forgetting that this is fiction," she said. "It's supposed to be enticing and engaging and interesting and paint this very intense picture."
