If there is nudity, I'm there. None more so with The Death Of Youth series. 30-years old American photographer-filmmaker Giovanni Lipari embarked on the project 'to capture the fantasies of his youth'.
As one article describes it 'Giovanni explores a life he always wished he had lived. Beautiful young women lay seductively on the beds of nameless hotels and slowly undress in this series, revealing private moments (as well as private parts)'.

Most of the models participants are from nude modeling background (Model Mayhem is main provider). Some are also web-cam models. One quite well known porn star. I will upload girls that gives off seductive and at same time has ingenuous quality to their demeanor. Props to Lipari for capturing all the vulnerability projected by the models. It comes across as natural unlike the usual artificiality and over-glamorized artistic nudes pictorials. Feels like Lipari is sharing his 'private collections' with rest of the world.

Q: What drew you to the specific women that you photographed?
In “Death of Youth” I sought to portray a varied group of women. For this series, I was particularly interested in seeking out women with distinct characteristics and looks. In general, I found that I enjoyed photographing the women who were truly comfortable with their bodies.
Q: Do you pay these women? Or do they participate freely in this art project?
It was about 50/50 with the models that I photographed. I never paid any of them too much money, but yes, about half of the women took home a check. However, I think that the best shoots were often with the women who really wanted to help me out for the sake of the project. I definitely appreciated the women who did this for me.

For the first time in its 60-year history, openly lesbian contestants are competing to become Miss California.Mollie Thomas, 19, will be representing the West Hollywood area in the beauty pageant, while Jenelle Hutcherson, 26, is competing on behalf of Long Beach.
The women, who were approached by pageant recruiters to take part, are battling nearly 400 other women to win the crown - and a place in the national pageant, Miss USA.
Miss Thomas, who has never competed in a pageant before, wanted to take part as it allowed her to represent the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in a positive way, she said.On her Facebook page, she added: ‘I am taking this opportunity not only to fulfil some of my own aspirations, but also to be a positive role model and inspiration for the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning) community and for girls everywhere.’
Thomas, a part-time student at UCLA, has volunteered at a school for handicapped children in Mongolia and at an elephant reservation in northern Thailand. She also helped rebuild homes in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
She is unable to recall exactly when she came out as gay, adding that her family has always been aware and supportive.
'My family is so open and accepting that I knew very young who I was and who I loved,' she told the Huffington Post.
When asked what her fears were about the pageant, she added: 'I don't have any.
'Initially I wondered if the organisers and other contestants would accept or ostracise me, but I've been fine.'
I’m so proud to be the first openly lesbian woman to compete for Miss California USA. After running in the 2012 pageant and making history as the first openly lesbian woman to participate, it has become my dream to not only hold the title of Miss California USA, but to make a lasting and positive impact by representing the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning (LGBTQ) community in a new and positive way.
After participating in the 2012 pageant, it because apparent just how much of an impact my campaign had on people from all corners of the world. The response I received deeply touched me and inspired me to run again in the 2013 pageant, as well as start building a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating positive visibility for the LGBTQ community by utilizing mainstream media.

I think her desire to pose nude could been influenced by her stint on reality show Pageant vs. Playmate (2011).
The weird thing is she portrays a Playmate on the show!
Apparently Mollie was in Playboy's "Camp Playboy". I watched the show but can't recall if Mollie was naked in it.

I was overjoyed to learn that Proposition 8 was recently over turned in my home state of California. It's a step in the right direction, however for a country that teaches it's children to place their right hand over their hearts and pledge 'Liberty and justice for all' we still have a long way to go towards actually making that a reality. When I wrote 'Runaway' with DJ Skeet Skeet, we wrote it from the perspective of our 13 year old selves, who felt pressure from our parents and society to be something that we were not. The song is ultimately about breaking free and following your heart. I wanted to make a music video that told a similar story in relation to gay marriage. I was honored to have the beautiful and brave Mollie Thomas star in my video, and I hope that together we are able to bring about more awareness to an issue that is near and dear to both of our hearts and spread a message of equality.
