Obviously plot comes first, but do you and Jonathan plot dream fights between his badass characters? Yes. We were actually just talking about next season and [SPOILER ALERT] we’d love to get Nola and Burton to throw down. What would that look like? We geek out on those sort of things. It always starts out with, "Wouldn’t it be cool...?" Like, "Wouldn’t it be cool to see Nola and Chayton talking to each other? What would that look like?" We talk about things like that that excite us, odd pairings, like, "Who can you put in a car together? Who can you put in a room together?" We have such a great ensemble. Alexa Fogel is our casting director—she cast Oz in The Wire and she found all this great talent.

In an effort to bring down Proctor, an enraged Lucas looks for trees to shake. After
