I'd mentioned it few times before. Something is really fishy with the 'butt' scenes. Doesn't feel or look right. Not a single blemish, a mark on Maggie's posterior. Unnaturally smooth. It was perfection in the creepy sense. She clearly had issues displaying her ass as it was. Probably insisted on CGI doctoring as Showtime prone to do from time to time. We should get literally a clearer picture with BR release. The showstopper that could have been was instead the dopiest scene of the season. If you're a groupie and planning to seduce a guy, there is no way you going to pay him a visit with a top on. See-through or not. Maggie's Faith should be comfortable with nudity. Groupies are fuck toys. The best kind of prostitutes: free of charge. Somehow the show attempted to portray them in shape of Maggie as some sort of a music muse with her mouthing off pretentious crap. No wonder the spin-off was scrapped. Nudity would have been the saving grace in a potentially ludicrous series only for Maggie to dodge the T-and-A bullet once again.
Elisabeth Moss in Top Of The Lake
* I wanted to see Moss naked for such a long time (since her West Wing days) but when she finally did, it produced conflicting emotions within me. On one hand, Moss was finally topless and among my nude debutant of the year. On the other hand, it was too 'Americanized' (bodies pressed way too close to cover the lady bits, elbows up) and less Jane Campion approach.

* blink-and-you-miss-it nudity of the year. If you're not going to show it properly, what's the point of getting Kristen topless? They could have shot the scene with her clad in bra.

* The boobs were digitally removed. Showtime is pretty good at CGI manipulation and giving nudity lovers the finger.
