Carrie (Ivana Milicevic) is getting out of the slammer after her somewhat underwhelming 30-day ordeal. But first she has to have one last prison shower, just to scrub the place off her skin and to fill Banshee's weekly quota of gratuitous bare boobies. She's met at the gates by her ex-lover and impostor sheriff, Lucas Hood (Antony Starr). Turns out Lucas is keen on getting out of the sheriff-impersonating business and he takes her to the remote farmhouse to which he plans to disappear. It's rather an odd thing to do given he knows a) they're being followed by a baddie in an ominous black car, and b) every episode of Banshee also has a quota of sudden, bloody violence to fill. Oh well.
